So a double bass pedal is like a normal single pedal but it runs a chain system off to another pedal so you can use both feet to control two different bass drum beaters. So you’ll see her moving both her legs, sometimes switching her left foot from the bass pedal to her hi-hat pedal when needed.

the spot in the video where you see her drinking water.. is the same spot in the music video where Herman is doing his part of the solo Sam is drinking a beer. Honestly I do not know much about Junna except she has been playing for years and is amazing on every drum cover she dose. Gee Anzalone (dragonforce drummer) did a reaction to this same video and he was impressed as well. Sorry I don't have more info for you

Junna played in band called Trident. You can find some of their early songs that she played on. Also Fate gear announced we have guest drummer JUNNA during EU, U.K concerts! she was Marty Friedman's tour drummer in Japan.

Actually the band changed their name to Trident after she left. When she was with the band, they were called Girls Rock Band Kakumei or GRBK for short out of Osaka. My favorite songs from them are Utopia, No Regret, Voltage, and Runner's High, which is all about Junna's double kick drums. This band has been my second favorite band for a while, behind Band-Maid (of course). I still like Trident, as I think Asaka really has improved as a singer and guitarist. My favorite song from them is Spoopy. Nagisa is also a great drummer, too.

Perfect opportunity to throw the name "Trident" into the room again, the band in which the good Junna was active in the past. Junna can be an absolute beast on the drums, but that also applies to her successor Nagisa from Trident. :) If you are interested, I recommend the MV to their song 'Continue'.
And speaking of good drummers, another brilliant one named Hana is part of the pretty amazing band Gacharic Spin. She is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, and all kinds of instruments besides drums, does vocals or covering songs like 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' on things she finds around the house. (Yep, that's what she did and recorded during the Corona Lockdowns). Check out the MV for 'Mindset' when you get a chance. :) ✌🏻

Doublebass - freeze at about 2:14-2:15, look closely at inset with her feet. Look at the bass drum you see 2 mallet, Right mallet control by right foot. The left mallet, look closely you see it connect by a bar that extend to the foot pedal to her left foot. BTW, the pedal to the left of her left foot is the Hit Hat, look closely, you see she use her heel to reach over and close it when she need it. Hopes that helps.

Been following Band-Maid a lotta years, never heard Akane pronounced that way. LOL But yeah, love seeing reaction videos to Junna. Been following her forever. It looks easy because she MAKES it look easy. The girl is on another level. The drummer from Dragonforce did a reaction video to this song and he said it was hid favorite cover. He remarked how she is all smiles and doing stick flourishes, when other people.... grown men who've been playing for years will play it and be huddled behind the kit trying to concentrate. And Junna just plays it like anyone else breathes. I've seen a lot of drummers, and I gotta say in my opinion Junna is just one of the all time greats. No matter how good you are, always remember there's an Asian doing it better. LOL And nine times out of ten it's in pigtails.

Junna is a beast! She has been playing since she was 15. She is 26 or 27 now. Her birth year isn't confirmed that I know of. She was in a band that is now called Trident until 2020. She is a freelance drummer now. As far as the bass drum, she has two pedals. One for each striker. If you look closely at her left foot, there are two pedals there. One for the bass drum and one for the hi-hat. Then there is another bass drum pedal for her right foot. Each pedal goes to a separate striker. Junna has a bunch of drum covers and at least one original composition (Demon). They are all worthy of a reaction. 🤘🤘

There is two pedals for the kick drum. One sits to the right of the hi hat pedal. So there is three pedals.

Ok....drumming in a nutshell.....every appendage moving at not only a different rate, but at different locations each one intermittently varying in rate while simultaneously remaining in perfect timing with the rest of a band.....and personally, I prefer a "real" snare and cymbals, with electronic toms and kick
