more desreving than so so so many other click baiters i got what i came for what a master craftsmen guys like this usually modest as s#!t ( this is like watching japanese woodworking masters if they started with the same tools and materials) p.s. if you make it to 1M subs oliver i dare you ......... i dare you to make an extravagent 1M segment piece
I gotta tell ya.. at my age, there are very few things and people that impress me. But I’m impressed with this guys work. Good to see craftsman in the new generation. Keep up the good work.
Oliver, I want to thank VERY, VERY much for the adblock advice. It is making a HUGE difference. My life seems to be in turmoil right now and you made it a bit easier.
Adam Atch actually, I have. With most glue it takes about 2 days of being clamped to set properly, so with what, 6 hoops, it would have taken weeks just to get the hoops ready to start clamping together. And how many thousands of tiny wooden squares did he have to make, then shape, and then put in a pattern to form the hoops? He put a lot of time into getting this project just ready for the lathe. Most projects on the lathe are much smaller than his, and are composed of much fewer pieces than this. I don't know why you want to be snarky and say what he did wasn't extremely time consuming and needed careful planning to pull off.
You doing this for 5k subs is absolutely amazing. Some people for getting 1million subs sometimes do nothing as interesting as this. 5k subs man you’re a great person, this is some amazing art too. Well done! 🙂
Bravo Monsieur Olivier.
I went to my local woodwork store and asked for Lathe Steroids. I’m not allowed back in there. You did a beautiful job with this. Wonderful skill set. Thank you for sharing. Amazing!
Simply stunning! Your creation belongs in an art gallery! Cuz that's what it is...a work of art! Such incredible talent at such a young age! Amazing! Liked and subbed, for sure! Like...duh!
I admit to being not the most cognizant or focused person in the world. I am either bored stiff or my mind wanders too frequently. This video was a treat. The music accompanying the visuals was such a treat. I watched the entirety of the video. Fantastic. Artistic. Soothing. Edit: Forgot to mention. Brain melted.
Absolutely beautiful work. Wood working has pretty much become a lost art form. I'm happy to see it making a comeback. When the industrial revolution happened by the early 19th century one could not make a living at woodworking. Every thing like shoes was done in a factory and the quality was poor as it continues to be. Be very proud young man to be involved in your calling. It is indeed a calling. May you always have the best of luck. Sure wish my dad were alive to see your work. He'd be proud.
That's so cool! You know, when you subscribe to channels, it feels like just your one subscription does nothing. But if that vase were missing one of those pieces, it would be obvious! That's cool. What a neat way for him to show that he cares about each subscriber.
Astonishing, magnificent, there isn’t enough words in the dictionary to define what an amazing artist you are. But not only are you an artist your very comical as well. So I would like to go on your journey as one of your subscriber’s , I cannot wait to see what you have in store for all of us !
As a beginner to turning i can only say.....Je ne peux qu'être émerveillé par le dévouement, la complexité et les compétences. Bravo monsieur bravo..... i hope i said that right
Not only was this an insane undertaking executed to perfection, you also threw humor into it and left me wondering "what's he gonna do now the lathe is too small?". I had not expected you to extend it and I had not expected the humorous way you chose to showcase it. Have a sub man!
perfect example of when someone has found their passion in life. It really is incredible what you are able to do with wood and the amount of work that goes into it. As others have said on different videos. I've seen some good videos of wood workers and the crafts they do in manipulating with resin. But you're the first I've seen that the whole craft is wood, and you work just with the wood. Really is incredible
Absolutely amazing piece young man. You've got some great skill and patience. And your craftsmanship is on another level. Side note, I really like your camera work. I've watched 4 or 5 of your videos and the camera work and editing is on point dude, so good job and you've got yourself a new subscriber buddy 👍👍
Wow Oliver, a truly ambitious project which I don’t think many turners would want to try, and boy did you pull it off. You knocked it out of the park. It’s an absolutely stunning piece, really so beautiful. And I had know idea you were a bit of a comedian to, getting the machine to take steroids 😂 lol. I’m sure this video will be a favorite of all your subscribers, and I imagine a lot of turners will be tuning in as well the see the young man who made a 5,000 piece vase. A massive well done Oliver, and thank you for sharing this amazing video. xxxxx
I'd never heard of you (sorry), but stumbled actually this & the title got my attention. First impressions? You put a TON of effort into this project/video. It was really well done. I liked how you made normal shots (that could've been boring) more interesting with the camera angles or splicing them into 1 clip. And I thought you were pretty funny, too. I loved the jars in the closet & the lathe eating it's steroids. 🤣 I'm officially subscribed! 😁
Thank you so much for this video. I have terrible anxiety and when i watch your videos, the combination of the music and your talents is super relaxing. So thanks again and keep on making amazing videos and art
I also just found your channel, and subscribed! Wonderful work! I'm impressed. I'm not a woodworker, but a very exacting quilter. I know how much time this must have taken. Impressive.
Congratulations. You have made it over the threshold and into the recommendation engine. I suggest you start work on your 100.000 segment vase, Sir. Keep up the great work. Loved the lathe roids, but be careful! We don't want a lathe with roid rage!
It's like watching someone painstakingly set up an epic domino run, but instead of ending with a mess, you have a valuable heirloom. Congrats on already surpassing 100k subscribers! Well-deserved!
Your SUPER HUMAN imagination, mathematical ability, dexterity, intelligence, PATIENCE, discipline and TALENT are beyond mind boggling. That piece belongs in a HIGH END gallery where I'm POSITIVE it would sell for at least $5,000!!
That turned out great! Thank you for the link in your discription to my channel and I'm glad my video inspired you to make something so beautiful! I'm in the process of making something very similar for my next video which will be up in a few weeks! Keep on turning Olivier! 😁👍🏻
Wow! Thats amazing! The time/technique used reminds me of quilting...cut everything into tiny pieces then put them back together again. Both can produce lovely results in the right hands.
I'd be afraid for a plant to be in it. I've ruined furniture with plants...it doesn't seem to matter whether you use a saucer, clay, or plastic under a plant, eventually water finds it way into the wood. My wood problems can be fixed with a bit of work on a sunny afternoon..deep inside a vase I'd only do that maybe for company.
My dear brother, your patience is incredible. Fortunately, arranged your shots quickly. But, this time, I was dizzy while watching. In summary, you are a really good artist. And I am sure that you will produce a lot more works in the future. Congratulations!...
The right amount of This Old Tony, the right amount of Frank Howarth, and a splash of Destin for good measure. Let's hope everyone else subscribes as fast as I did.
As an artist myself in Gold, Platinum and Silver. This is so beyond beautiful, miraculous achievement in wood! "You don't ask how much this is worth". You can't put a price on Art like this. The thinking, makes this just "one-of-a-kind".
Lets get this man to a million subs, I wanna see the million piece vase
more desreving than so so so many other click baiters i got what i came for what a master craftsmen guys like this usually modest as s#!t ( this is like watching japanese woodworking masters if they started with the same tools and materials) p.s. if you make it to 1M subs oliver i dare you ......... i dare you to make an extravagent 1M segment piece
Here for a million sub
Well he has to do the 15k sub first. Hahah
Subscribed to help get to that million piece
Don't worry I will. I don't know how the heck I'm gonna do it, but I will !
The thought that went into this, plus the turning skills, PLUS some comedy 😆= a new subscriber. Well done! And, I’m only 7:33 into this video
Comedy segment was awesome, loved it
thats alot more effort than people put in for 100k subs you got yourself a sub
Tom Preece make that two subs - impressive work!!
Jacob Jaskierny make that another.
this sucks, I'm out
amen
БРАВО,Оливер !Руки ЗОЛОТЫЕ.
This piece took more planning and time than nearly any wood project I have seen. Great job!
CJ Jankovics took more time of planning than my life
CJ Jankovics you ain’t seen many wood projects then
Adam Atch actually, I have. That was nuts. This dude EARNED a sub.
A lot of subs

You have a gift and found your calling. Your projects of art are second to none. Looking forward to your future projects. Take care.
Giving the youth of today a good name! Excellent.
Bravo Monsieur Olivier. C'est une idée passionnante de vous voir augmenter le nombre de segments par nombre d'abonnés. J'espère que vous verrez ce nombre grimper.

This is remarkable. You are a wood artist. This is the sort of craftsmanship and talent people invest in collecting.
J'ai rarement vu un truc aussi bien fait. En plus c'est tellement satisfaisant à regarder, tu mérite beaucoup plus d'abonnés!
Subbed 2 minutes in. As soon as I saw how small the pieces were being cut, i knew you were insane! Well done, you.
HOLY crap !!! I hardly have the patience to glue 5 pieces together. Love the "witch craft" cabinet!
Absolutely gorgeous vase.
I went to my local woodwork store and asked for Lathe Steroids. I’m not allowed back in there. You did a beautiful job with this. Wonderful skill set. Thank you for sharing. Amazing!
You have to ask for lathe fertilizer. No drug associations with that.
Beautiful vase! Fun video. I like to see people using discards that would be burned or put in a landfill used to make beauty. Very Well Done.
Simply stunning! Your creation belongs in an art gallery! Cuz that's what it is...a work of art! Such incredible talent at such a young age! Amazing! Liked and subbed, for sure! Like...duh!
Dude. Not only are you a genius turner but your cinematography is brilliant. Great job.
I admit to being not the most cognizant or focused person in the world. I am either bored stiff or my mind wanders too frequently. This video was a treat. The music accompanying the visuals was such a treat. I watched the entirety of the video. Fantastic. Artistic. Soothing.

Omo, WHAT!!!!!! Your style, design, execution and humor are off the charts!!!! I'm so glad I subscribed! Thanks for this beautiful video. Keep making!
So nice to see twins getting along and working so well together.
You've got a This Old Tony sense of humor, and that's' the highest praise there is on youtube my man! Very nice.
You are amazing man. Great cinematography with the lathe chumping down the cake. absolutely amazing patience and perseverance. Bravo
The amount of effort that went into this is astounding... giving you a sub out of sheer admiration
As a beginner to turning i can only say.....Je ne peux qu'être émerveillé par le dévouement, la complexité et les compétences. Bravo monsieur bravo..... i hope i said that right
I'm not a vase expert, but this is the dopest looking vase I've ever seen.
Dan Odden Now I’m wondering if official case experts actually exist 🤔
Archeologists will find this in 1000 yrs and say, "WTF?" Outstanding work Oliver.
@@USNCBSLIXXX then they will find the UA-cam video archive of it and go my god this man was a saint
You're not a vase expert? Damn, what are you doing with your life, man.
Only dopey to those lacking appreciation of art.
Did I once describe your work as simple?
Clearly I hadn't watched enough of your videos then. Great video! Beautiful pot!
Not only was this an insane undertaking executed to perfection, you also threw humor into it and left me wondering "what's he gonna do now the lathe is too small?". I had not expected you to extend it and I had not expected the humorous way you chose to showcase it. Have a sub man!

subscribed for no other reason than that build plan... OMG

I suggest you start work on your 100.000 segment vase, Sir.
Keep up the great work. Loved the lathe roids, but be careful! We don't want a lathe with roid rage!
I literally subbed this guy just because he put so much work into something for just 5000 subs. Well done man honestly
I'm with Elaine Green, you got me with the lathe growth LOL. loved it
It's like watching someone painstakingly set up an epic domino run, but instead of ending with a mess, you have a valuable heirloom. Congrats on already surpassing 100k subscribers! Well-deserved!
subbed merely for the contents of that cabinet. hilarious. keep up the beautiful work.
Truly gifted. I love woodworking as a luthier. Very nice work!
I love all the jigs he made just for this kind of work!
Tout simplement magique, extraordinaire, fabuleux, bref votre talent est incroyable...
Amazing. The amount of work you do is staggering and fascinating to watch. Love from South Africa. X PS: Cute cat! ❤
Thank you
30,000 pieces should get started now... you are almost there!!! Awesome work!
Magnifique, et quelle patience!
From one woodworker to another. My friend that is God level work. Super impressed! You've got a new subscriber!
That's a $3500 piece at minimum
What a craftsmanship, deep respect man.
Your SUPER HUMAN imagination, mathematical ability, dexterity, intelligence, PATIENCE, discipline and TALENT are beyond mind boggling. That piece belongs in a HIGH END gallery where I'm POSITIVE it would sell for at least $5,000!!
New sub man, I just lost it with the muffin and the lathe! Keep up the amazing work.
From 5k subscribers to 21k subscribers in less than a month, way to go man. Way to go.
If I had a Clone I'd build ish like this too.
Incredible patience and talent! Absolutely beautiful and delightful to watch as well.
Stunning piece, i'm a little envious of your workshop but tools are nothing without talent. A pleasure to watch, subbed :)
That is a whole new level of patience. Awesome job it looks great
Made from waste wood wow I couldn't put that outside your amazing
Your work is always so beautiful. And the videos just keep getting more and more entertaining. Love them all.
The most impressive thing about this is that THE ENTIRE GODDAMN THING WAS MADE FROM SCRAPS. WHAT?!?
Your patience is amazing! Great craftsmanship!
That turned out great! Thank you for the link in your discription to my channel and I'm glad my video inspired you to make something so beautiful! I'm in the process of making something very similar for my next video which will be up in a few weeks! Keep on turning Olivier! 😁👍🏻
No problem it is my pleasure. Love your pen turning ! I'll be waiting for your next video!
Wow! Thats amazing! The time/technique used reminds me of quilting...cut everything into tiny pieces then put them back together again. Both can produce lovely results in the right hands.
It is so beautiful! I prefer it just like it is, without the plant.

Just imagine getting a neighbor or friend asking "Where did you buy this at?" And being able to say "No I made this."
One of the best projects I've ever seen. This is insane
P.s. it's also a REALLY well-made piece. I loved the pattern. The contrasting colors going in opposite directions.... Beautiful bro. 😁
That, young man, deserves another sub. Here ya go.
To quote a friend of mine, "art is 95% tedium!" :D Beautiful vase!
do i have to feel old, knowing what your profile picture shows without googling it...? :-)
@@zso1t Nah mate, not unless you want to make me feel old as well :D But you should congratulate yourself for having good taste! ;)
Wow that looks amazing.. the time and effort that you put into producing the vase resulted in a piece of art...an amazing job..

C’est magnifique... un vrai régal pour les yeux

It's awesome to see people with cool hobbies who are dedicated to their craft and follow thru on projects.
"Liquid Subscribers" made me subscribe. Good lols were had.
