They flawlessly combined Japanese folk music for Shiver, Bollywood tunes for Frye, and Brazilian samba for Big Man. The madlads truly encapsulated the beauty found in chaos.
Festival culture is all about being fucking hype at all times, they would absolutely just mesh together perfectly.

It's pure! I enjoyed the J-Pop the squid sis gave in the first, I enjoyed even more Off the Hook for the rapping style in the sequel, but Deep Cut goes above and beyond ALL of the former combined

This song makes me cry. I recently got a switch this year in February and got Splatoon 2, and now I finally get to experience a Splatoon game when it comes out and play in a Splatfest for the first time.
Same situation for me, I first played Splatoon 2 on January 2 this year. My body is ready.

the time i got my switch was a bit before splatoon 3 was announced so i didn't get splatoon 2, splatoon 3 will be my first splatoon game (i know a lot about the first 2 games though)

i technically got splat 2 when it came out, but no switch online at the time. 2020 i got switch online but lost both splatfests i did (trick or treat and mush vs super star)
This really feels like the kind of music you have as part of the World Cup. Makes me feel like watching some football/soccer.
Yes I showed this to some one and they said it made them think of the Brazil 2014 World Cup I think I kinda agree.
Maybe if they manage to combine some more festival cultures in as guest band members or something, it'd be a perfect Olympic theme.

This truly feels the most splat-festival like compared to off the hook and squid sisters (dont get me wrong I absolutely love the two groups but this one takes the cake with the upbeat music :3) and it’s such a banger I can’t get it out of my head so TY I can now listen to this on repeat ٩( ᐛ )و
i can say the songs catchy but the squid sisters will always be the girls that have my heart.
I really hope at some point there is a CD for splatoon 3/Deep Cut, This music is a BANGER!
itll probably be Spatoon 3 disk, since in splatoon, every single song has a canonical band and members, who all have lore behind their personalities and such. In fact, the shop owner of the general items store is canonically an artist who has made music thats been in the game. so whatever we get, i want the love to be shared among all the splatoon artists, but i will admit deep cut is climbing up there as being one of my fav splatoon bands.
Good luck getting it outside of japan after Smash 4 nintendo has never released a full soundtrack outside of japan (at this rate i may end up importing the splatoon 2 ost just to listen to #8 regret on loop in a car)

Dare I say it, BEST SPLATFEST THEME EVER! And that's saying something after Color Pulse back with Off the Hook's Reveal in that Splatoon 2 Direct. This is the only thing that could ever possibly top it. Can't wait to see what these three do in the Octo Expansion level DLC that they also instantly confirmed.

Underrated comment. A seamless transition is a thing of beauty in and of itself, especially for a song you want to dance to. Just listened to a different extension and stopped listening the moment the audible hiccup interrupted the flow.
I cant wait for the "Octo Expansion" of this game, where Big Man is shown to have a tragic backstory through the splatoon version of MySpace

You have to admit when it comes to first impressions it means everything. And Deep Cut did not disappoint with this. I can see this song rivaling the same songs like Calamari Inkantation and Fly Octo Fly.

So at first I *really* didn't like Deep Cut. My heart was still for best girls Callie and Marie.
