- In the 1940's, a particularly aggressive rogue elephant would appear in British East Africa. This elephant would go on a rampage that lasted months, destroying villages and killing an unknown amount of people. He was eventually brought down by big game hunter J. A. Hunter, but in the end it was revealed that the elephant had not been the villain at all. He had good reason to hate people.

Rogue Elephants are very dangerous. You have to steer as clear as you can. But there are some that would make that very difficult. I can't blame some of them. If they suffered at the hands of people, it's not surprising they act as they do. NO human has the right to hurt these beautiful animals or any animal. But they do, and these humans don't care. Elephants should be respected and any poachers punished very harshly. They need other members of a herd. They don't do well alone.
