Absolutely beautiful. I love the way you added the fabric to the canvas and hi lighted it. The poppies are so real looking. You are an amazing and creative artist.vi love, love your artistic ability. ❤️ Elizabeth
Watching you create, is so calming, and with having a Down Syndrome son, I can surely see how much your students can learn and take away from you gift of "teaching"! You have a gift to "show & tell" and with such depth of simplicity, to pass on how easily artwork can be, each to his own 😊 I truly look forward to any new videos from you, and already I have learned so much, and been shown how to add my own ideas to what you have shared with me. Thank You so much for being who you are, and helping those of us who need to have a more daring approach to artistic talents 🤗☺❤
Oh my goodness! It is exquisite - beyond a shadow of a doubt!! Well done, My Friend! Bravo!! On a side note, when you were talking about looking through your stash, I can imagine a glorious room filled with fun art supplies that I would love to get lost in, lol!
Thank you so much Keeley! ❤️ I’m so glad you enjoyed this one hahaha I wish I had a glorious room like that, will have to settle for my little box at the moment 😂😂
How lovely, I am fascinated with your creative process. And it filled my heart with joy to know that you have classes for adult special needs. It’s close to my heart.😊
This is a random video that i got recommended by my home page... First textured art video to ever watch.... And my mind is blown.... Like its so gorgeous... Ive been missing out
I really want to try this! I especially liked using the skins and spraying color with the little bottles! The texture is very appealing to me as well. Thank you!
What I ❤ about this tutorial is that you show all the materials you use, the steps and stages, and make it easy for beginner painters to achieve something beautiful. I prefer to create my own art, mixed, and multimedia design because I often can't find what I want. And many times pre-made arts and crafts are expensive to buy. Keep up the great work
@@abcreativeofficial becouse I love all your paintings...you are painting all so easy and it looks like with witchcraft done...I must always look in wich corner to move to have enough space to sit and try to paint..today I show a good friend 3 similar paintings..and this woman means they look great..yes but if you stay in front there are a few parts I dont like.. could make it better..okay..I take most of my paintings how they are..no more to paint over...
I love, love, love mixed media and fiber art. Watching you make today's painting has renewed so many memories of past creativity. You drink tea and and as you know different teas are different in color. On another painting you do in the future, use your used tea bags and pounce on your shades of red to brown colors. Oh! I simply love watching you. You fill me with joy.
Stunning!! You combined so many different techniques and they turned out wonderful. I know all your students love having you as their teacher. Thanks so much.
I absolutely love this.Red being my favourite colour .I think creating the pad to raise the two poppies was a good idea.I think the way you do your pours and then use them as skins is clever. You have taken that art to a new level. You are very talented and I love watching you.The younger me would have played with these ideas ,sadly arthritis has taken a lot of use out of my hands.I think your job is wonderful, not boring. To bring a love of art to anyone helps them cope with lots of worries or if they have bad days. It’s an outlet. That is good and no doubt they go home happy and maybe do some drawing or painting at home.I used to do the scenery for the plays at the school where my children went and also helped teach some art to the older children.I enjoyed that so I know how rewarding it is to see the look on someone’s face when they do something that they are proud of.And I can tell your proud of your students .Keep up the great work ..Love n Light 🥰
I don’t know how well the filler held up but just thought I’d offer some advice I have used builders caulk and it works perfectly I have a painting I did about 15 years ago and it’s still holding up great. It has a texture that like a cross between filler and silicone sealant. Love what you did with the flowers
Just found this video and love watching your creative process!! I was searching for Christmas tree paintings, found one I really liked, and will use your mixed media to decorate it! 🎄 ❤️ thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas!! Especially the mistakes and internal dialogue. Those are the parts that let us commoners know it’s okay to experiment, make mistakes, and it can still turn out wonderful!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and lovely compliments🥰; I really appreciate it. 💕Have you seen my Christmas tree as well? It was so much fun decorating it ua-cam.com/video/9pMIyYHV51c/v-deo.html
Wow! I LOVE this! You don't need to "get brave", you already are! I would never be brave enough to flick that red acrylic ink over that beautiful painting!!! Thank you once again, I learn so much from your tutorials 💕🤗
This is absolutely beautiful! I use painting as therapy, it brings me so much joy. Also hearing about your students made my heart happy. Thank you for sharing your gift ❤
OH MY GOODNESS AB!!!!!!!!!! Seriously this is top notch! I LOVE IT!! So beautiful! I really love that you did those two flowers 3d. I am so in love with all the things you put in the background all the built up texture and color and more texture and more color! It’s just so gorgeous next to how smooth and glossy your poppies are. I love it so much! This is definitely going on my master list of things I really want to try in the near future. This reminds me of the abstract oil paintings I used to do when I was 15. I used to add texture with wall spackle for under my paintings and some of my paintings were flipped were I would paint the background and I would do a bright white spackle .5cm thick combed in different patterns as the focal point. Your painting just flooded me with such great memories. I really love that so much of your art does that for me. It’s so wonderful to be reminded of art from my past weather it be the floral paintings my late grandma made or things I’ve made. It’s just so nice to be reminded.
I’m so excited to try this method. I love learning and experimenting. I am so glad I found you. I have already done a glue gun painting and posted it on my FB page. I was so overwhelmed at how many likes and comments I had. I can’t wait to do this one to share. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with people like me that are learning new crafts in my retirement.
I’m so happy I came upon your UA-cam page. I’m a beginner looking to learn different types of acrylic art textures. Thank you! This is a beautiful piece of art.
I am so in love with this! I love how you showed how I did the texture and the flowers! I always have a hard time painting stems. Now I don’t have too! Just turn it into a multimedia art!!!
After many many years of art, this demonstration has jump started my enthusiasm to create again. Oils is my passion but this poppy multimedia creation is awesome. Thank you..
WOW! I Can't wait to try some of these techniques. I love your picture and how well you show and explain what and how you do it. I'm 61 and I want to take up painting! ❤❤❤
I’m so happy to hear that! Thank you so much!🥰 If you like poppies, I’ve just posted a different version you might enjoy ua-cam.com/video/wvkPVCWYxZY/v-deo.htmlsi=Z59IxyxdrR_PLD74
Just came across this video while browsing UA-cam art for some inspiration and boy, you are SO inspiring! You're an amazingly gifted and creative artist and I also love that you work with special needs kids and adults. That must be be so soul satisfying for you, and I'm sure definitely keeps them happy and engaged! I just love your ideas. I especially love that kind of thready net that you used for texture. I love the flowers you created as well, and am inspired to try something like this for my home. I did see some comments asking what the net is called. I don't know either, but I'm thinking (and this could help someone here who's looking for similar ideas) that using a glue gun, we could make similar patterns and then paint over it. I haven't tried acrylic pour before and floetron here in India seems very expensive for an amateur hobbyist like me to spend money on. But I do a lot of glass painting and I'm sure I could obtain similar effects for the flowers with glass colours. They too can be done as skins and then pasted over. Maybe something that some of your fans here might like to try as well! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I've subscribed too as I'm quite hooked on your art! Lots of love from India!
This is so great. I love the texture in the background. You just kept going and going. I love that you just kept finding things to use. I'm definitely going to try something inspired by this. If/when I do I'll tag you. So so cool
Thank you so much! Creativity is frequently an iterative process and you need to really explore before you find what works! I really look forward to seeing what you come up with 😁❤️
