Once you put the case on, I see there is no gap when the phone is folded so that seems more secure and less likely to get dust in there. Maybe that's why they left a gap so that a case can fit in neatly (and I guess so that both halves of the screen don't touch each other when folded without a case).
Thank you for the calm presentation! I'm so tempted by this phone. I feel the need to upgrade my iphone 8 and I'm between this and the iphone 12 mini, both come in purple and both are small. The thing I love about the flip though is that you get a "full sized" phone too but it folds into a more manageable size. I hate carrying around big phones with me. The flip has such a nostalgic feel to it too, I'm sooo tempted.
I would go for the iPhone 12 mini if I wanted a small sized phone but Samsung fold if I wanted to customise to different sized. Also if I wanted to fit in my pocket or in a small compartment Hope that hepled🙂

I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S10+ to this Z Flip 3. I saw the videos and bought into the hype of it all... that fold just got me... but after using it for just a few days, I realized it was not for me. The battery life was horrible, the camera was nothing special, and the phone was just really bulky and I found it awkward to just carry around. I think it's great for some folks who don't mind those things, but I just wasn't a fan. I returned it 4 days later for the Galaxy S21. Just a note, I thought it might help if I had something to help hold it in my pocket, to keep it in place. While I wasn't able to find a case/ holster combo made especially for the Z Flip 3, the holster that comes with the combo for the regular Z Flip works fine (I found one from a third party seller). That made it a bit more comfortable in the pocket (it didn't sink down so deep & I wasn't afraid that it would just fall out), but it did add even more to the bulk of it all. That and the horrible battery life (drain) were my reasons to return it.
thanks for your input! yea i agree with you on a lot of points and it's a bummer that samsung had to downgrade certain parts like battery and camera quality to lower the price to $1000 USD. Hopefully they can learn and improve the future generation of foldable phones in the future. 😊👍

The Z Flip and Z Fold are amazing, it just sucks that they don't have the cameras of the S21U and S22U. I still want a Z Fold in the future! if they get cheaper lol
As an iPhone loyalist, I can truly say that this is the most beautiful phone that I had ever seen since the Motorola Razor (the original one). I might just leave my IPhone XR for this.
Getting mine this Friday, I got the cream color , I have been extremely bored with iPhones since the iPhone 5 but they have always been gifts to me. But this , this is something I actually want.
Adding this phone to my list of things to get someday. Samsung will always standout because of phones like these I love my brand new Oneplus 9 but next upgrade will be a new Samsung flip phone like this and if I hit it big at a casino I’ll treat myself to a weekend phone Or my new daily depending on how much I love it. You can’t go wrong with a Samsung. By the way thanks for adding visual texts at the bottom of these videos as someone who is partly deaf due to a ear infection that was caught to late It does makes a difference. Battery is not that bad , mine has lasted nearly 2 days depends on how you use the phone I love the phone it is beautiful I have lavender also . You can have big batteries and still charge phone everyday .
yea you can definitely find ways to improve the battery life and even can charge wirelessly which is super convenient. It's definitely not the worst but I feel that at least 4000mAh would've been perfect for me personally! 😊

I just got this phone on sale on the Samsung website plus they included the buds for free 😊 if you have good enough credit you can get it for $0 down and pay it with 4 payments every 2 weeks. I got it within 2 days of ordering it. So far the battery life really doesn't bother me, so I think if you use your phone like an average person it's fine.
A Wriststrap would be a great idea for this phone. So it can used like watch in flip mode.Bottom screen for typing and the top for viewing and the front for facetime and messaging.
The music choice for this video is so calming! I love the phone and I wish I had gotten it instead of the Iphone 13 pro. I will definitely be getting one after I'm done with the Iphone

yes! it's still working great and no issues with the screen at all. But there are definitely some app optimization issues but mostly minor. If you're scared, you should stick with non flip phones for peace of mind. Maybe you can wait one or two more generation 👍😊

I dunno why this video made me miss my old Nokia flip phone. I saved money for almost a year just to buy a second hand Nokia flip phone with a tiny antena on top. The phone is already a few years old but I still really like it. It even has a small rectangle screen on the outside. N then I hanged small furry keychain on it. I love it soo much. I still keep the phone, but the charger has broke so I cant turn it on now.

I dunno why this video made me miss my old Nokia flip phone. I saved money for almost a year just to buy a second hand Nokia flip phone with a tiny antena on top. The phone is already a few years old but I still really like it. It even has a small rectangle screen on the outside. N then I hanged small furry keychain on it. I love it soo much. I still keep the phone, but the charger has broke so I cant turn it on now.
