Emir of Qatar condemns ‘blatant aggression’ against Palestinians

- Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called Israel’s attack on Gaza “the most barbaric, heinous and extensive aggression, violating human values, international conventions and norms”.
The Qatari leader’s speech has focused heavily on the war in Gaza. Qatar has been one of the main mediators in ceasefire talks.
Sheikh Tamim condemned the Israeli assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, the lead Hamas negotiator in talks. Despite those challenges Qatar “will continue our efforts of mediation to resolve the disputes through peaceful means”.
Sheikh Tamim concluded his address saying Doha will work for peace across the Middle East and beyond.
Dr. Majed Al-Ansari is the advisor to Qatar's Prime Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He said the current situation in Lebanon is an all-out war and not just an escalation.

Not one single Arab nation provided sanctuary to civilians in Gaza. preferring to keep them in a war zone started by their leaders. FACT. There is not much a country like Qatar could do apart from finance it has no military capability to attack only defend, Egypt, Saudi, Iraq, Algeria, Morroco are all stronger militaries than Qatar and Sudan and Syria could do more if they weren't at war with eachother. The theft of land from the Palestinians and others in the area as well as the massacres are crimes on the state of Israel. They are multiple violations of international law. The funds others might have to rescue the victims of Israel's onslaught since its inception are not what is required. What is required is for the country of Israel to stop its oppression.

Honestly the best thing is for Palestine to remove Hamas from power… as long as they keep calling Israel their enemy I don’t see Israel stepping down too.
