I think you should ALWAYS level up one glyph, even if you don't have any heroes that you're using to level up. Just pick the next hero you plan to use and start levelling up their 5 glyphs to level 5. You only spend 50 glyph points per day and you get 100 per day (plus gold and activity) as a reward. To skip this would be silly.
fwiw, I consider level 20 (at least on FB/Web, dunno if the breakpoint would be different on Mobile) to be where it starts costing a lot to keep leveling. All the heroes I do use, I immediately went and leveled all glyphs to 20. And now I just invest in the "best" glyph available for the heroes I use. So I might invest small amounts in, say, Ginger to help me in the early game. But agree that one SHOULD NOT INVEST HEAVILY in heroes you will not use in the mid/endgame. Thanks Charlie!
On web atleast you don’t have to level a glypth to get the quest you just need to use one rune. If you use one gray rune you get more gray runes in reward. So no reason not to do it every day.
I could see how someone might interpret your warnings as a discouragement to experiment. If a hero interests you, try them out, but don't go crazy on your investments until you give them some time and see if they're worth promoting. On the other hand, if you have 0 interest in a hero, then don't even increase a skill point. Not glyph-related, but I would add a warning to be wary of opinions on the value of heroes coming from old sources and players who've been around a while. They may have prejudices against heroes who were re-worked for the better. For example, you'll never convince me that Chabba doesn't suck.
I get the overall point not to invest runes into heros u don't plan on using but from my own personal experience 5 gray on a hero's glyph below lvl 5 a day is a win. Due to the fact that the reward is 10 gray glyphs
It is worth mentioning that you shouldn't max your defense glyphs, unless it is a tank. maxing defense and health glyphs actually can weaken your hero, depending on the hero. There are no drawbacks to maxing offensive glyphs.
@@MitchMako the higher your defenses the slower you regenerate energy because the less damage you take the less energy you gain. Some people who have maxed out their heroes are discovering after the fact that they are now able to go an entire battle without triggering their ability. This is very frustrating, especially if you are used to your ability being triggered multiple times a fight. At most you want to level your health and defensive glyphs to 40 not 50 unless it is a tank.
you are just partially right. If you are against a team who is significantly bigger than you, you need health and defense for most heroes. I play for free and my 500k often fight ( and win against) 750k + teams. In such situations your opponent's hit so hard you need health to survive the first onslaught. And also you fire your ultimates pretty often. So my advice would be to think about your situation before investing in glyphs. If you are facing teams who are around your level don't go hard with health and defense glyphs. If you are facing bigger, heavier teams, invest in health glyphs.
@@subratafreelancewriter8504 There is a video out of a guy defeating a maxed out team with a low level three star Arachne. Her health is so low that her energy fills up so quickly that she just spams stun. So you don't need health to stay alive. In most cases the key to beating powerful teams is lower health not higher health.
Simple games (requires no skill or brains, as anything can use automatic mode) and low-level online games ( 2 D). But everything here is too expensive. How far is the future?
Charlie what heroes do you recommend investing for the long run. Cuz at the beginning the game doesnt give us more options. Like I have mojo, and I heard he isnt good on investing 😅
Great vid, got a question though... I use fafnir and plan to do so long term, is there any benefit to buffing his physical attack glyphs since he doesn't actually ever strike the enemy?
I use Dante as the main damage dealer+tank and for my Fafnir is 1000% worth all the investment. The strength of Fafnir's skills increases with Fafnir's own physical damage. And since Fafnir increases Dante's physical damage with his abilities.
I'm confused by the maxed glyphs as it's mentioned here that the max levels on the web version is 50, however I play the web version, as I play on my PC, and it still says 40. Does the max level increase later in the game?
I don't like it when you promote giving real money to a Russian company , but let's face it ; you are one of the guys who gives real outstanding tips , and for that reason alone I tip my hat to you . Fantastic job 0/
My friend I appreciate the kind words and support; I will always advocate for not spending at all (outside of maybe raid). But, plenty of people do spend, which is why I touch on spending here and there.
I did not know you don't have to fully level up a glyph to get credit. Thanks for the video.

Charlie. I am not sure if you completed your thought about how access to the 5 Glyphes at different color ranks gives you a hint about them. 1:18

can I ask you how maxing defense or health can weaken some heroes?? how that works?

Is it worth it to level up and upgrade those heroes required in outlands? I can only play right now in the AGI soulstone boss..
activity points do every second day with 2x glyphs most efficient way

Focus on the heroes you are using....depending on your focus either titans or heroes....you WILL run out of gold.
After you start with the guild activity points, runes are almost impossible to get (Mobile version).

His physical attack is the power of his shields so yes, just like Julius.
Is arachne worth leveling?
If you're a newbie. Eventually, you'll find heroes with more interesting and versatile applications.

you are probably under level 100. once your heroes touch level 100, you get glyphs upto level 50.
@@subratafreelancewriter8504 I know, this was 7 months ago and have long since figured that out.
Good advice.
hmmm.. i don't even play daily quests.. maybe i should?
With a guild you should do it.
