Ah, the memories of coming home from school in fall of 2003 on Friday afternoons and kicking back and playing Madden '04 on my Playstation 2. Such a nostalgia trip.
If only everyone in society could give up their grudges with each other! No one is a thug or a snob. NEVER judge ANY book by its cover! All judgements towards others reflect who you really are.
That's the most naive shit I've ever read. No one is a thug or a snob? What a load of shit lmao I'll bet you'll say no one's a stupid fucking idiot too, but you've just proved that one wrong.
Some things to say. The lead Singer is John Mc Enroe when he was 18. To sum up, I think the song and the video rules. I'm 34, and I can say that I work in a multinational, but in my soul I'll always be a punk rocker. People grow but the roots are not negotiable!
Been listening to this song a lot of Spotify and learned the chorus as “shut your fucking mouth.” Listened to it here again and was singing along and noticed in the video it goes “better shut your mouth” and thought I was going crazy. Just now listened on Spotify again and went to sing along and was thrown off by the different lyrics. Then I realised the video has a clean version of the song and my sanity is now partially restored. 😂
The clean one you heard in the video is the radio edit version. It was also included in deluxe versions of the album the song is from. Original lyrics were “shut your fucking mouth” and the band also re-recorded the chorus for the radio edit, so as to make it more younger audience friendly. The same was done with the Meredith Brooks single, Bitch, back in 1997. However, in that song, the word "bitch" was retained while radio and TV networks gave it a clean title "Nothing In Between". That song is now known as "Bitch (Nothing in Between)" for re-releases but the clean title is often used when the song airs.
I love this song! (: They were so good! :D It's sad that they separated though... I would've definately went to a concert if they were still together! ):
I always thought I was the only person in the world that listened to this song, lol. Seriously no one I know has even heard of this song. It's a shame too, this is fucking awesome.
This is modern Gob. Go listen to some of their older stuff. My first Gob show was back in 96 in Ajax ontario. The opening act for Gob... Sum 41 (before they had that name i think). Go figure.
MrLuigiLIVE im from ajax born in 96 (22yrs old). Lived here my whole life. Big fan of both sum 41 and gob. Really cool that u saw them in ajax hahah was just wondering if u remember the venue they played? Im sure its long gone now.
this band is so underrated their songs are so good

I'm the biggest Blink 182 fan and I think Gob is as good as them, but with 1/1000th of the success.

PLAYIN' THIS SONG IN MY HEAD WHILE BOMBING IT TO MOSS FOR A 80+ TD PASS

One of those rare gems where the video is a 10 for creativity and being epic to match the awesome rock vibe of the song.
Madden 04 was so goated 🏈

The ideal strategy is tit-for-tat, or forgiving tit-for-tat. If you want to learn something interesting, search youtube for "2. Behavioral Evolution".
@@jayroi1814 do you have to be such a snob? That was super unnecessary bro.
What a shame they are so unknown, they are absolutley fantastic. And from Langley BC to boot!

Same. Prefer the clean version which I'm used to by now. I'm not sure about Spotify, but it exists on Itunes

Always thought it was "Give up the grudge, shut your fucking mouth"?
Am I wrong or is this a toned down version?

Cheers John.
