I am a member of a choir here in Brighton,UK...on October 31st it is the Brighton all night White Festival which celebrates the coming of the Winter Solstice and putting the clocks back one hour...we are booked to sing this at 6am as the dawn breaks
jmcalaster Interesting tidbit, I found out recently that when you get goosebumps while listening to music, it's a reaction to your brain releasing dopamine (the chemical that makes us happy). My brain released a LOT of dopamine while listening to this!
The part that starts at 2:47 is really haunting -- and it seems pretty difficult to do. All three singing all of the nuances in exact unison, as one voice (to borrow another Jennys title) that has a distinct richness to it.
I love this song so much. a easy song to rememer too and a good chorus song :) although I'm an alto and I wish I could sing the saprano part because I like it much better! :)
I am singing the second part in our school choir for judges this friday. Well be fine, except well that our "soloist" is doing it opera style and its extreamly hard to blend with her. Any tips? They are so beautiful, and amazing singers!
sorry, @friederich66, not sure why it got marked as spam...don't think I did it...if i did, wasn't on purpose! you are now officially "unspammed". and...i took a listen and have no idea who is singing...interesting arrangement. good luck!
They even make taking a breathe artful. Awe.
Beautiful. This Canadian group doesn't get enough publicity.
