I tried this on a server I'm playing, and It didn't work, Venatu hits you with lvl 1 guided attack and lvl 3 elemental attack.

I know this is a 3 years old comment, but I remember that the Venatus only use skills if they have been hit by someone, so if only one of the mobs is hit, they can kill you.
