Also I’d add p1harmony to this list bc FNC is horrible at management and seems like p1harmony is the only one keeps them alive nowadays. They messed up with Cherry bullet who had such a good concept and the girls went on gp99 got a lot of hype esp bora. Yet they barely capitalized it, and two members left the group. It used to be AOA im pretty sure but AOA is disbanded. I’m pretty sure the only groups they have expect p1harmony are k- rock band groups which I doubt they are active actually since I’ve barely heard anything about them and FNC is just- not good at frequent comebacks anyways
You’re right, FNC can only rely on p1harmony right now. Cherry bullet went viral with 2 of their songs, first it was hands up, then it was love so sweet, yet FNC did nothing. They also wasted their gp999 hype which is just such a stupid move. I’m convinced some companies should be banned from debuting ggs and FNC is one of them.
It baffles me how companies like IST and woollim haven’t gone bankrupt yet. I seriously doubt their artists are generating enough revenue for them to stay afloat. Give it a couple of years at most and they’re gonna shut down, trust.
they waited 1 year to give eunbi a comeback and the song was not good at all. this girl deserves so much better cus everyone used to love her when she re-debuted as a soloist
IST isn't bankrupt because they're overworking the boyz like hell, they've had 4 mini albums, one single and LOTS of different world tours in 1 year only
I'm just gonna add Fantagio Ent. Well as we all know if without Astro or Cha Eun Woo, Fantagio will never ever gonna risse up and be able to buy and move to SM old building... It happened all they're success during 2021 era, which is Astro's best year...
I don’t think RBW is screwed. They’ve been trying to pull a HYBE and have multiple subsidiaries such as DSP (Kard’s label) and WM entertainment (oh my girl, Lee chaeyeon, b1a4, and onf) RBW also has young posse, purple kiss, oneus, Kara and Onewe
It’s especially infuriating if you think about the fact that wjsn gained massive popularity with save me save you in 2018 and starship barely capitalized on that and let’s not even talk about the fact that starship continued to neglect them even after they won queendom 2…the mismanagement has been going on for years, it’s absurd

They had a lot of opportunities, specially with the attention SMSY, As You Wish and Unnatural got them. Its really sad to think about tbh Also, it’s frustrating to see how much RBW has fumbled the bag with purki and how each comeback sells less and less. (G)I-DLE isn't going to disband. Aside from being genuine friends, they each bring something to the table like Shuhua allegedly being Soyeon's muse for concepts. They're simply going to reform somewhere else when the contract expires.
apparently soyeon is gonna handle her solo activities under koz entertainment (one of the best hybe sub label as of now) and when their group contract ends they are gonna join koz
Considering the fact that 4/5 Apink members decided to not renew their individual contracts with IST it's just a signal that IST is already going down and we're talking about Apink, their most legendary group despite the fact that they haven't managed half of their whole career...Tbf IST should just stop existing lmao. I don’t if you will see this or not but this in regards of the starship points you raised( yes ever gen starship has a group that super popular that helps the company from going bankrupt, in 2nd gen in was sistar, in 3rd it was monsta x and in 4th gen it was ive) I don’t if the bg after cravity would be successful because as more time goes on it seems like monsta x success can’t be replicated by starship both boyfriend( the bg before mx) and cravity are not bgs that are big( the aren’t nugus but not huge groups in their generations either) bgs are having a small comeback specially since it’s the beginning of the 5th gen and most successful bgs always debut in the beginning of the generation so if they time it right maybe but I honestly don’t specially since starship sucks at promoting group specially bgs and mx success was mostly because of the members not because of starship or no mercy( a lot of people were put off by no mercy and their was a huge solo stan problem at the time)
JYP is nothing without Twice. The company was going bankcrupt at that time. Then Twice debuted and in 2016 their popularity skyrocketed. And they carried the company on their back. They were able to build a new building. And JYP made tons of money to create other groups like Stray kids,Itzy,Nmixx,NiziU,etc.Though JYP mismanaged Twice. They could have given Tzuyu more CF,acting roles and modeling. Also if other members were allowed more solo promotions. They would have been even more successful. They are the backbone if JYP.They made them Big3.Twice is still generating huge amount of money for JYP.They get the bare minimum but give the company the maximum amount of money.
Infinite left Woollim, and they are stupidly incompetent in wasting these characters. Starship is seriously baffling to me. You have Monsta X. You have WJSN. What are you doing. Yeah Monsta X is doing military service, but still. Also good job Yuehua for fumbling Everglow and losing Woodz. Although they are doing well in China so they are gonna be fine. Cube beefing with Soyeon now is so stupid. Guys, Soyeon keeps the lights up especially since BTOB left. RBW just pisses me off. What the fuck is going on with Purple Kiss. Also OneUs is dear to me since they debuted and they are getting momentum but it's still far from paying the bills. (OneWe is also there but for bands its always harder)
For yg it’s 2ne1. Without them the groups they have wouldn’t be a thing plus so many fans are getting ready to buy tickets and merch. (Just my opinion. I do Agee BLACKPINK does help the company ) For pledis honest all of their girl groups For cube clc because they would’ve been so big Rbw definitely hasn’t been promoting their groups like they need to. Everglow should’ve came back with a full album

JYP would be fine if it wasnt fot Twice. JYP and Hybe are the biggest companys rn, and JYP has Skz, Itzy, NMIXX, and more. And ik Itzy and NMIXX arnt as big, but JYP is in ability to give them a stable concept and promote them better to make them bigger.
Anyways these idols may be talented and it's true that lots of them diserve a better treatment. However they litteraly auditionned and benefited from their labels ressources as well so they can establish themselves and last time I check no one force them. None of them said " I wanna be in this group, this is our group's name and we're gonna debute this day". Let's not forget that behind an idol, an MV, a promotion, there are at least 30 people from producers to background dancers to make up artists, designers, editors etc... Even for the self produce groups like G-idle, straykids or seventeen. So these idols may be their labels biggest money makers but its still mostly thanks to their labels doing. Fans need to stop acting like they know how to run an agency and promote artists.

IMO, BP didn't make YG. YG established its brand long before BP. In fact, BP succeeded because of YG's branding, not the other way around. YG made BP. Similarly, Cube made GI-DLE, building their image with 4Minute first, but true success came with GI-DLE. I’m not discrediting BP success. But I can truly say, it’s the company that made them who they are today.
Is bigbang still active though? I’m talking about groups that are keeping the company relevant right now. Yg has had many iconic groups but honestly, out of their current artists, nobody is as successful and relevant as blackpink
It’s unfortunate yg doesnt know how to manage multiple successful groups at the same time. Like imagine if bigbang and 2ne1 were still active today. Yg could’ve been bigger.

"zombie" was a good song but definitely not something to keep up with releases and trends nowadays that this one also flopped. i'm literally so mad cus i used to love these girls back in 2020, they were one of my fav groups (i still love them it's just that i'm not really feeling their newer releases)
But back then they had legends like 2ne1 and bigbang, then those groups became inactive and bigbang also went through a whole scandal. YG would not be where they are now if blackpink never existed. Their newer groups will never match to their seniors' level of fame and success and YG would have massively declined without blackpink

to be fair, victon and weeekly were originally from PlayM, and the big money makers in that company were Apink. it's only after the merge with cre.ker (tbz company) that they became IST, and that's when things went downhill. everything is messy and so many artists (and regular employees) have left the company. it's not surprising a 4th gen group is keeping them afloat; they have a long way to go in their contracts.

Those companies should be treating their money makers like gods but they’re mistreating them
its like playing kick the buddy. the more you abuse them, the more torturing devices you can buy, therefore the more money you can make.
No idols should be treated as gods. These idols hardly do anything useful for mankind.

@@SamEricLlort they're not talking about general leople treating them as gods. They're talking about their companies treating them that way because idols make their company tons of money yet the company treat them like shit.
I believe they invest about 100k per year for one idol. If there are a lot of trainees, let’s say 25, that’s 2.5 million a year and they need to recoup their investment if just one group succeeds.
yuehua is doing alright in china tho
FNC debuted a new rookie boygroup recently called Ampers&one, the music is not bad but the problem is that there's no promotion or media exposure

true
If only sse used IVE's money to do good marketing and investment 😔
Also, RBW has Purple kiss and Starship has WJSN, but honestly, both groups aren’t doing too well and are still relatively nugu.
@@soft4taeng wjsn are basically royalty amongst nugu groups. it feels like everybody loves them but at the same time they are heavily overshadowed. they haven’t had a comeback in 2 years, some members left as far as I know. It’s a disaster.
It’s really sad to think about, as WJSN gained a lot of popularity from Queendom 2, and their comeback sold almost 200k albums, which is massive for them but starship just threw them in the dungeon. They had a lot of opportunities, specially with the attention SMSY, As You Wish and Unnatural got them. Its really sad to think about tbh
Also, it’s frustrating to see how much RBW has fumbled the bag with purki and how each comeback sells less and less. They had a second chance with Sweet Juice but they clearly don’t know how to manage them. Its specially sad to see because they have great vocals, dance and imo one of the top 4th gen gg rap lines

For Yuehua, i think
Yena for Korean market (loved by gp, soloist ex-izone, variety show queen)
While
Everglow for International market (being the only artist having so many tour since debut) and still doesn't have lighstick, Yuehua must be think Forever is broke or financially poor.
(G)I-DLE isn't going to disband. Aside from being genuine friends, they each bring something to the table like Shuhua allegedly being Soyeon's muse for concepts. They give each other ideas and support each other during the production process and I highly doubt they would abandon that as it helps them evolve individually as well. They're simply going to reform somewhere else when the contract expires.
they're not going to disband, but they're definitely going to leave this company next year
apparently soyeon is gonna handle her solo activities under koz entertainment (one of the best hybe sub label as of now) and when their group contract ends they are gonna join koz
I can already see what company is gonna be here
Considering the fact that 4/5 Apink members decided to not renew their individual contracts with IST it's just a signal that IST is already going down and we're talking about Apink, their most legendary group despite the fact that they haven't managed half of their whole career...Tbf IST should just stop existing lmao. I would prefer if The Boyz were under another company 'cuz to be honest they were doing SO MUCH BETTER before and IST is clearly not treating them well and they already got rid of most of the freedom that the group used to have.
I don’t if you will see this or not but this in regards of the starship points you raised( yes ever gen starship has a group that super popular that helps the company from going bankrupt, in 2nd gen in was sistar, in 3rd it was monsta x and in 4th gen it was ive)
I don’t if the bg after cravity would be successful because as more time goes on it seems like monsta x success can’t be replicated by starship both boyfriend( the bg before mx) and cravity are not bgs that are big( the aren’t nugus but not huge groups in their generations either) bgs are having a small comeback specially since it’s the beginning of the 5th gen and most successful bgs always debut in the beginning of the generation so if they time it right maybe but I honestly don’t specially since starship sucks at promoting group specially bgs and mx success was mostly because of the members not because of starship or no mercy( a lot of people were put off by no mercy and their was a huge solo stan problem at the time)
Hopefully, Starship won't forget the talented ladies of WJSN (my favorite gg these days).

RBW just pisses me off. What the fuck is going on with Purple Kiss. Also OneUs is dear to me since they debuted and they are getting momentum but it's still far from paying the bills. (OneWe is also there but for bands its always harder)
Starships’ best investment was sending Wonyoung and Yujin to Produce 48 and paying money to get them favorable treatment in Produce 48.

YG existed before BP, they will continue without them.
But back then they had legends like 2ne1 and bigbang, then those groups became inactive and bigbang also went through a whole scandal. YG would not be where they are now if blackpink never existed.
