i fished this spot with a 6in glow shat on 12/0 texas rig hook on 97ln Nile chaser for 6 days and nights only got 6 niles, but lots of the big catfish guys and gals lol never thought of crayfish on bottom rod, wiil try it next im at Congo thanks
Pretty new to the game played 4-5 years off and on only got to around 19, tried this out after buying the congo DLC was hoping to have a lot of fun and get back into it , fished it with the basic rods and i just cant catch anything, wasted pretty much all the free bait. everything just out fights me and i cant get out of the max line range. tried tips/videos but nothing helped, any tips would be very helpful its very unmotivating and im not sure what to do!
Yeah I understand, recent update they made the boats heavy when fighting the big fish so I am sure its a chore gettting them on bait rods in the Draco Boat bro. Maybe try using float and bottom rods on tiger fish. Large minnow or shinners hook 6/0 to 8/0
@@RoadWarrior88- Using the 2 rods given in the congo dlc, the bottom rod is what I was using a lot, was using a 7/0 hook though switched it to 10 only thing I have in my backpack without having to waste the entry fee to leave, The only bait thats worked for me is the tilapia, pretty much out of the bait and whatever other dlc bait was given sucks. probably just going to accept defeat not sure what I can do and i'm not sure what to do at all If the problem is i strike incorrectly but they just out fight everytime or if im not reeling in properly. skill issue or what lol, its really aggravating

Congo is great bro. Make sure your game isn't bugged out. If your on a steep peak not getting bites rotate spots or go to night peak. If still don't get bites close app and re open game could be glicthed out and your game time isn't advancing.

I'm kind of debating buying the Congo dlc pack, I am level 71 and it'll probably take another 50 hours I have about 650 bait coins I could sell the Amazon dlc boat and be over or close to 1k Idk if I should buy the dlc but I am kind of sick of the Amazonian maze map

What lever are you? If you don't have a decent spinning or casting rod it might be difficult to use lures on Congo if your low level.. If so just use your bait rods like I explained in thus Video.
I like both bro. But night is better cause you can skip from night to night to avoid being stuck on slow bites. If one spot seems slow go to next spot. If whole night seems slow just go to next night peak. Make sense?

Fast track is definitely the Congo DLC. But of course that cost real money. Up to you on that buddy. I have a playlist on farming lakes check it out if your just wanting to grind up without spending. FP likes you spend money or your time it seems. Sometimes both lol. Best of luck man.

Well man kinda depends on how quick you can learn the game. I would say maybe get to level 30. I have playlist for lure guids how to set up gear etc.. if you need them. You have 30 days real time to get to level 75 if you get he Congo DLC so you can keep the lake to fish. So many times low level guys get that pack and then cant level up quick enough and quit the game. Its such a grind. So its up to you bro. Its so much faster to get money and xp at the Congo. If you do buy the Slc make sure to do so when you have time to play. Maybe 2 to 3 hours a day cause if you dont hit ñvl 75 you cant fish there again until you do. Also watch my Congo Dlc Advice its on how to lvl on Congo with the wild África Pack but since your lvl 12 you dont have a boat but it will help you once you get a good lure rod.

Yes bro what level are you.? It cost money to travel every lake has different fee. You must get enough money at another lake to cover cost to get back there. Makesure you have everything before leaving lake again until you make enough money to do so

If your set up is to small for the fish your catcjing it will say that.

Shiners will work or use small talipa until you run out. Crayfish works great on perch whwn you get it unlocked
