I always use the 7/0 grey mouse in the mighty 3 comp and it works well. I usually get a trophy and unique out of each spot just never quite good enough to podium. Last time I played it I got to 18s a 19 and a 20 lb unique.

It confusing at first, basically fush them on opposite side of island. So if its North wind fish south of island. East wind fish West side. Also troll into wind. They give you 4 yellow iconu on that mission. So go to the one that makes sense due to wind direction

Hi I was just in a comp against you. Cats and Night catches. I watch your 8 minute video on what strategy to use. Then tried it in the comp but only got one catfish to bite on a crank bait. Was mainly just getting walleye and bass. Then tried float fishing off the dock but only got one catfish and a sturgeon. So have no idea why I couldn’t catch em. My in game name is The_Bald_Kiwi I am in a club by myself NZ Anglers

i’m getting fed up of putting rods on boat holders and then when i get a bit i grab rod and it’s turned itself to max drag damaging the reel it’s a joke

Yes good video. My Trophy pilker 7/0 was bitten off when in the rod holder with a fish on it. Really angry about it ! And it was on a leader now I think about it. So you could have a point that a leader is the problem. It was such a good lure as well. Do you think in your opinion that they will bring out a club series pilker ? It’s my only consolation

The same thing happened to me, the rod was on a rod holder, I used a squid chain, and I also lost a trophy trolling octopus. I corresponded with them for a week, their official answer: "Squid chain is an addition to the main lure, which increases the chance of a bite, but takes up a leader slot. Squid Сhain does not replace the leader and cannot serve as a defence against the sharp teeth of a predator. If your tackles are equipped with a squid chain, there is always a chance that your line will be bitten off. Players have to decide whether they want to increase the chance of attracting fish with the risk of the line being cut, or use a leader for protection but with only one lure. This mechanic is not a game error and works as intended by the developers. In this case, we cannot provide you with a refund." So they think it's normal and intentional. My answer to this would be an ugly indecent speech.

Same here. Had one of my Trophy Medium Spoons bitten off yesterday in just the same way as in this video. I still have 4 more, but it's just the point of why now all of a sudden that this is happening? No longer using gear that is not available in shop for in game money.

I think they use 3 ply braid for sea reels . I wouldn't use fluro on the sea as most of the fish even the minor species have teeth . Even braid is pushing it. You know how fishing planet works . It's not as if you can click down on the drag like normal to compensate like you do with the sharks. You would be fighting fish for days. Titanium or go home mate it's a must. Plus it's another way for FP to make a few quid. This update needs to pull in the coppers understandable but it's the underhanded way they go about it. Tight lines Bud :)

wouldn't a floro leader be weaker than the base strength of mono line? I never use mono line unless it's for bottom rod or float maybe, but even then I wouldn't put a flo leader on mono line. I am only level 83 and use only free to play saltwater gear or lower and have honestly never been bitten off for any reason. I religiously use braid line with titanium leaders unless with everything unless I am forced to. seems like the devs pushed the mono and flo line+ leaders intentionally for people to lose gear and have to spend money on baitcoins for replacements if you ask me. 100% id never use anything but saltwater braid or regular braid line and titanium leaders here with how overly ridiculous the fights are for even the smaller fish. Just my 2 cents, but never lost a single lure here using low level free gear

Yes and I wish this would be fixed because the amount time it takes to aquire lures in this game some of which can not be replaced. Trophy Lures etc... They need to figure this out or atleast explain why this happening.

And still the long fight with the fish that don't counts and get running screen happened twice yesterday different people🤦🏾‍♂️

I think it's an imbedded error in defaults. Seems like your default is to loose the fish in any way. I have been bitten off and lost two trophy lures with a balanced set up, including Ti leaders. Unfortunately, support will give some random "ping" explanation. Truly sad, considering how enjoyable the game is.

Shame, and annoying, but it appears to be rods that are in holders, that you have set back to reel another rod. Hasn't happened to me at all while reeling in a rod... Sam

lost 3 lures in one day, equipped leaders and have lost none after 6 days...
