Wow, thanks for doing this lengthy demo of all the modules. It helps me decide which modules to look at closer. The Powerball and Uberschall sound amazing!
Thank you so much for the comparison. Best way to do it. To me the SLO, Pitbull and 2C+ sounded the most like what I prefer. Diezel sounded very complex as well, just prefer these more.
Sound amazing! All Module! I have OS 2 and Fryette Deliverance, I would like to buy one more Syn2. How can connect two Synergy Syn 2 preamp with Syn 5050?
Love the demo of all the pre amps, but would have liked it more if you adjusted your playing to the style they are known for. If I do an Angus Young riff and switch all the amps, I'm just going to lean towards the amp that sounds most like what Angus used. For example, the Steve Vai amp is about soloing, not as much the chords, and its greatness shines when you solo.
Great demo, but can’t believe you skipped past the Uber Blue without even trying really playing it?!?!? That is my fav high gain Synergy for sure and I’ve played a bunch of those and the real things. But, to each his own.
SOOO.. I see having both of your Fryette modules in the same SYN 2 causes the Sag LED to be on all the time.. I'm noticing the exact same issue with my modules in 2 different SYN2 units..
The pre sounds better through Mesa 2/50, 2/90, or ENGL e840 (ENGL is better than MESA) stereo amps. Not impressed with the Synergy amp accept it's nice that it's a single rack space.
I thought the idea behind the Synergy system was absolutely awesome and groundbreaking... but I have to admit, after listening to a lot of videos, I'm a little underwhelmed. It seems very geared towards Hi-Gain players. All the modules sound similar in my opinion. And the cleans just sound fizzy and thin. Nothing like a real amp. I don't know why it is so, given that it is actual preamps, but it just doesn't sound "natural" to me.

Been listening to different amp modelers here on UA-cam all morning. This was like finally hearing the real thing. I’m sold.
Was always curious what that Pitbull sounded like because I loved the heads. Might be my next module. Thanks!
damn, that was a very dangerous video!!! ))

I have the Diezel, its a killer module.
Enjoy it, my man.@@athanasiosvouloukos8389
2C+ and Jaded Faith Mark X was the best sounding by far.

Syn2. How can connect two Synergy Syn 2 preamp with Syn 5050?
I had to read the user manual for that, it's detailed here
All sound great, but for me the best ones were the Friedman BB/BE, Soldano, Fryette Deliverance, Dumble OS, and the T/DLx.
Nice demo
This is helpful. What guitar and pickups are you using on here please?
It's a Tom Anderson The Classic, a Strat type guitar with HSS pickups.
DAMNIT! Needed to hear these without pedals enhancing

good but still prefer the friedman irx pedals into a fryette power amp
The SLO module has more than double the gain that my SLO100 has
I don't know the SLO100 but a friend has the SLO30, and the module doesn't have more gain, really. But my Tom Anderson has powerful pickups
2C+ and Jaded Faith Mark X was the best sounding by far.
Which module would you say worked best with pedals in general on the clean channel; BB-BE, IICP, TDLX?
BE-BB, best clean platform for me
I just up a second syn 2 and volume is way less on the slave unit. I wondering how you don’t have this problem?
Hello ! I just followed carefully the instructions on how to use two SYN2 together

Guitar, pickups, and strings please?
Not 100% sure, but probably my Tom Anderson The Classic HSS guita, with D'Addario NYXL

Same power section makes them all have common characteristics
Play them.
