This is one of my favorite songs. i have to listen to this regularly, and i intend to for the rest of my life. anyway, i hope you guys are doing alright these days.
Thank you!!! I agree, our connection has really improved over the years, and it grows every time we play. It's really like a relationship, all about trust, letting go of being selfish with the music, and that communication.
it's awesome seeing you two grow as musicians and this clip really showcased the connection you two have built up (lots of great moments of call and response, and an intense back and forth communication between the piano and drums!) great video, really quite inspiring. thanks! keep doing what you do :)
I dig it man, thats hella fresh. It's fun to show your videos to old people and show them that "Hip Hop" isn't what they think it is and your videos and music are what it really means. Good lookin' out
Hi Adisious, that’s great news! And to tell you the truth I believe piano is THE BEST basis for venturing into any other musical craft, be it another instrument or singing. I used to ask myself the same question about what type of drumming I should start with aswell. I would suggest just listening to music you are naturally drawn to, and trying to emulate the parts / play along to the track.
I’m nowhere near where I want to be with jazz, but I think because jazz involves a lot of 4 limb independence, its best to get a book first / take lessons. As far as how long it will take you to get intermediate, it all depends on how many hours you commit to practice/ the curriculum you set for yourself. I’m confident you will be the drummer you want to be though.I recommend the book: Alfred Advanced Techniques for the Modern Drummer goodluck with your progression! -Justin Ong
2:44 was an amazing transition. Reminds me of those moments in some anime where the action scene abruptly pauses to convey some climax moment in the scene.
So def! Even though i'm not a skilled musician, i only have a poor keyboard here at home, and sometimes i can borrow a tambourine (i was always fascinated by drumming), but i'd soooo like to have these same out of world music chill moments, jamming with some buddies:) these videos totally bring me this kind of feeling and atmosphere perfectly! btw. what are these blue thingies on the drumset? thanks for the music:)
Gotcha, I checked it out but my firefox Flash needs to update, except everytime I try to update it doesn't work lol so I can't see much of anything. If people keep telling me it should be on there I'll get on that, I know it's a pretty popular website/app.
Thanks a lot man! Yes it is really nice actually for me too, I want to keep it all free with a 'name your price' option as well, I think that is so cool to let people pay only if they want to with no obligation.
Actually can you tell me a little bit about it from your perspective, are there advantages for me to do it through that service somehow? What do you think about it?
yea haha I was guna put the LISTEN in there too but lol you know wer its from.. thanks yo. I would like your permission to sample one of your jam sessions.
Im not sure on the artist point of view how everything works, but from the User POV you could get your music out to the public faster. Especially if your music starts trending on Spotify.
Hi, I'm 16 years old and I REALLY really really want to start drums. I've been playing classical piano for a couple years and I just never got the chance to start drums. What type of drumming should I start with? I want to do jazz. And how long do you think will it take for me to get to an intermediate level, if I practice alot?
as a producer.. I worship you 2.. my first favorited video on youtube is from you. keep on creating that gold and diamond sound you guys have.. also check out some of my beats. id really want to work with you guys one day.

/ove how the tempo speeds up then drops down near the end
could be looked at as good or bad by some people
They help 'muffle' the sound, he used to use kids sticky toys but now he has some legit ones, haha.
