My father had early onset dementia at age 61, Biden’s behavior and speech patterns remind me me so much of my father. I took his keys and guns.
Biden doesn’t need to be president today, and he’s clearly incapable of being president for the next 4 years.
Importantly, no psychiatrist or neurologist would support you in declaring him incompetent. You need to look for a statement from the APA, not the DMV.
Biden doesn't have to drive. He has people to do the legwork. He just needs to be a statesman and with advisors make decisions. Which he still can do. Joe Biden at any age will still be better than a Trump disaster presidency.

As a European I really feel sorry for this man who obviously isn´t capable of recognizing his own mental state.
In a real democracy it must be possible to replace a person if he or she is no longer capable of holding an office - even if he or she stubbornly refuses to retreat.
The USA needs a democratic revolution - it must be possible to overcome the two party system which doesn´t give the U.S. population real choices between different alternatives!

don't keep thinking these reporters are not aware. We've known for years that they are playing defense for The Democrats
A) He slurs almost every word - he didn't slur nearly at all 1 year ago.
B) He lost his train of thought and withered down to "anyways" over 9 times in the one hour.
C) He said, "the idea" over far more than a half a dozen times in one hour.
D) He couldn't remember who Trump and Harris were.
E) He couldn't remember who the commander in chief is.
F) He started an hour late, and went 60 minutes instead of the promised 90.
G) He began by reading the teleprompter for a prepared speech, eating up several minutes in the conference that was supposed to be "unscripted".
H) He told everyone and showed them, he had a list of reporters he was told to use for calling on reporters and then stuck to that list, in a what was promised to be an unscripted event.
Name a single place he does that in a job interview for any job at all in America - apparently besides being the leader of the free world - and then he gets the job.
It is criminal to make him go through all this! He could not answer or remember to answer questions all his answers were CONFABULATION!! please read about it

D+/C-. Biden got through a long press conference. But the questions from select reporters seemed scripted, and he barely handled this lowered bar with few direct, coherent answers. Probably ok for an 81 year old who has been laboring under the demands of the office for 3.5 years, but barely adequate is not what the country needs from the President. I won’t vote for 4 more years of the same. Neither can I vote for Trump. The conventions have to produce change.
