It would seem Kai is the Big Bro of the Dark Angels.
Mf was pissed enough he was willing to give his life in order to prove a point.
First for the first legion!
The reason there are fallen at all is because back in the day the LION would do everything without questioning it. He never bothered to hear the other side and never gave mercy in the past. The fallen are karma he must now realize he might have been overzealous in the past.
I think that is a little bit of an oversimplification. Depending on how we interpret the lore the 1st legion was the first legion so pre primarch reunification it may have had a greater degree of genetic diversity than every other legion. And well calabanites are often rebellious(in general personality) jerks.
It plese me that a marine whom shares my name tried to duel a primearch
Second for the [REDACTED]!!!
I can’t wait for the continuation of this storyline
To be honest I think the real reason is they wanted to know if their father could still fight, it he couldn't they'd urge him to retire as im sure theyd not want to loose their father like how they lost their grandfather
Not even close during the heresy Lion was notorious for jumping the gun and causing problems especially killing space marines he thought traitor with no thought to what if they weren’tZ earlier in this scene he promised his sons he wouldn’t make the same mistakes. That’s why his son challenged him if he hadn’t changed he’d have killed him but if he had he wouldn’t either way his brothers would know whether or not to trust him.
It's nice to finally find a 40k SM with my name B) and he's a damn badass
Technically he’s a 30k space marine who ended up in 40k
