      Arthur Miller, her ex, was one of the worst. Grouchy, jealous and sour, he always put her down. Donald O'Connor was not jealous and he's a class act.

    Let's not forget that Donald O'Connor was a great star and talent in his own right. He's so down to earth here and a gentleman.You ask any young dancer on Broadway about Donald O'Connor and they not only know who he is but they respect him as a great pro.

    Great comments, Donald O"Conner! He knew that she needed a lot of time to become Marilyn Monroe on the set, and that she is still remembered because she had the ultimate charisma and she died at 36 under suspicious circumstances. But I do envy him working with her...… Must have been unbelievable…..

    Marilyn just radiated on film, facial expressions, voice, movements... no one can teach you that, it comes from within... THEN technicians enhance and capture it for film.

      You ask , What went wrong ?
      What went wrong was the morals went down the drain !!

    • @ClearYourMindTravel
      @ClearYourMindTravel 5 років тому +13

      When did Hollywood ever have morals. The only difference between then and now is that back then, Hollywood kept quiet about their secrets. Now it doesn't even matter. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Hollywood stars back then did their dirt too.

    • @ClearYourMindTravel
      @ClearYourMindTravel 4 роки тому +4

      Back then they kept who the really were private. Celebrities back then had to lead double lives. They were one person in private and another person in public. For example, Rock Hudson. The only people that knew he was gay was the people in his private life. In public he was strait, in private he was gay. Hollywood didn't really change, it's just that now celebrities are being who they are, public or private.

    • @ClearYourMindTravel
      @ClearYourMindTravel 4 роки тому +2

      @@marilynnmaines3787 They didn't have morals back then either. At a private party, one of the Marx Bros. (I think it was Chico Marx) told Tallulah Bankhead he wanted to f*** her. In public he was this funny guy that everyone loved but in private, he was the biggest perv. If he did that today, it would have been all on TV and everything and he wouldn't apologize for it.
