My dad and I built a recording studio inside an old mobile home a few years back and I was so happy and proud of how it turned out. Unfortunately that property is being sold so I'll lose access to it, which means in a few months I'm going to have to build a new one! Watching your videos gives me so many great ideas and inspiration (conduit in the walls and rails on the ceiling are must-haves). Appreciate you, Harris!

What a DREAM SETUP, Harris! Appreciate ya giving us the behind the scenes as I'm trying to dial in my home studio myself (with not as much cool gear, of course). Definitely interested in those ceiling rails! So clutch.

Dude I have no interest in gaming or streaming, and yet I am captivated by every video you do. I guess when they say "find your tribe" as a creator, I'm part of yours. I like the way you present, go about stuff, and share what you're doing. Plus, I'm just starting to get into cameras and it seems like a slippery, dangerous slope, but I'm here for it. I've started with a Sony ZV-E10 with the kit lens, and am planning on getting a Sigma 16mm 1.4 in the next couple of months. I suspect it's all downhill from there haha.

Harris have you thought or tried a guitar display and when you want a guitar the display pushes forward and then opens so u can grab your guitar and maybe have the guitar display be temperature controlled so it'll keep the guitar strings in the perfect temperature so they won't shrink or stretch and it'll give the strings time to adjust to room temperature before grabbing the guitar from the display case

My only concern would be the long cables dying out faster, I know that often happened with USB and HDMI but I'm not sure if it happens to other types of shielding. Cool setup!

that was a pretty smooth segway into why to subscribe. Good idea about buying used A7S's for a streaming setup, too bad that here in New Zealand people on marketplace keeps trying to sell their 2-3 year old camera for near new price, and stupid people keep buying them
I owned a Logitech G915 keyboard until recently I received a Corsair K100 Air (Wireless), love it so much, its even a lot thinner than the Logitech already is, and typing feels great (important to me as a Software Engineer^^). Did you ever have a chance to test it? Might fit to your setup perfectly ;)

I just got an audio setup for recording (SM7B, Audient Evo 4, Donner preamp) and am wondering if something like the MG06 Yamaha mixer would be better for manually adjusting the EQ [than the Evo 4].

Awesome video, Harris. The studio is coming along nicely. Wish I had something similar to film my content in! I don't think I would leave this studio space and spend the entire day in there, if I had the same thing! But, one thing though. The constant whoosh transition sound drove me nuts. Way too over-used in the video. I found it to be more distracting than complimenting to the amazing b-roll that was shot. I would love to see how you edited the b-roll shots to get that smooth sped up pan shot! Look forward to seeing the studio in its final form!

this has a proper set up for ZOOM calls thats over kill but kind of nerdy and i love it. also i was buy a camera for video graphy and photography don't know which one to buy any recomendations and plz don't say "use your phone."

So harris I guess I'm what you call a "gamer enthusiast" lol and I do plan on streaming/editing at some point but I want to make sure my setup is perfect for me for when I do...I'm not really in any rush.... but recently I spiraled into a deep rabbit hole after watching your content and you've inspired me to want "more" out of my setup as far as functionality and productivity which I never thought about before so I greatly thank you for being able to explain even the most difficult information into simplistic terms....lol but one question... what camera should I invest into first as a beginner?

Storytelling = MILES better. Like... SENPAI better. Clearly well-thought out content that I'm 100% taking inspiration from. Without realising it, this is probably the best decision you've made here. I realised at the end of the vid, that I totally forgot what the title was, which is pretty much what you want from a YT vid (if you're a UA-camr!).
Editing = Completely different style. More polished, it'll be interesting to see if this continues or is just because it's... 'new'. I hope it continues.
Sound = Felt like it jumped all over the place. I guess you used maybe 4-5 different mics that didn't marry up throughout the vid. The quality on each was fine but they all sounded different.
Sound Engineering = Loved the swooshing and left/right audio switching. More of that!
BROLL = Hit different. I guess that's the benefit of having the editor in the room 100% of the time when you're in the creative process...
Balance = Amazing for 90%, but at one point I felt there was too much jumping around (motion changes, swooshing and mic changes). Actually I felt slightly motion sick from it (never had this before in ANY video I've watched). Let people recover from the camera swooshes, and you take a 96% perfect video, to a 99.9%!
