    The reason why Western coastal plains are narrower than eastern coastal plains is that ,while western coastal plains are coast of submergence, eastern coastal plains are coasts of emergence...I don't think it's got anything to do with the position of western or eastern ghats..
    P.S- Rubber is mainly cultivated in Kerala and not in Karnataka..

    Bandipur + Nagarhole + Wayanad + Mudumalai = Highest population of Tigers and Indian Elephants. That's why this stretch is more famous. Leopards and wild dogs are there, but they are not the main reason.

    chambal region is not a part of malwa plateau..plus malwa plateau region is most fertile and prosperous tract of madhya pradesh and poverty and crime due to poverty is not there.Altough Chambal passes through malwa plateau but Chambal badlands feature, popularly called as BEEHAD in hindi and RAVINES in english,is part of upper chambal basin near morena and sheopur districts.

      Mayur Singh tomar True, similarly- Gwalior isn't technically a part of Bundelkhand plateau (Central Plateau/Shivpuri Plateau instead).
      She might have included Malwa in the Chambal region because the river does drain/has basin in certain areas of Malwa including Neemuch/Mandsaur. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Great lecture, major portions are covered as well as minor. Only the issue is that Ma'am has tried the worst possible pronunciation of the words in English, although it's unnoticeable in the starting but it becomes really ridiculous and ear-bleeding as we move further in the lecture.

      @sachuchandra94 4 роки тому

      I dont think she explicitly said that height decreases from north to south . She also infsct said ki anaimudi is highest peak in western ghats. Its just that the hills are broader in karnataka area and narrower in other regions with some gap. And come on its hills, it didnt thought of humans will quantify us and record our patterns during there formation, so there will be irregularities inthe height here and there.
