Hey everyone! Which one do YOU prefer? 😍 Here's my review of the original BURBERRY GODDESS: ua-cam.com/video/kMMFNSwAYWs/v-deo.html As for which is better? Well, both are goooorgeous! However, I think it would depend on my mood. BGI is deeper, heavier and more complex, so for me, that would mean that I would likely only reach for this in cold temps. The original BG doesn't feel as heavy (even though it's also very long lasting) which for me, would make it more versatile and easier to wear. So it's a toss up and mainly depends on mood, but both definitely deserve a big thumbs up from me!
I already have the original but I’m definitely buying the intense version once it’s released here in the USA I haven’t seen it anywhere yet so I’m waiting to see when it’s available in Sephora or Ulta to buy it

Hello,yes, an exact description of the scent. It is strong, dense levander, vanilla combo with a bit of smokey woodinnes. Therapeutical scent, very grounding and aromatical. I like the original also, which is fresher, more airy, with a hint of ginger and cacao, more suitable for day wear or warmer weather. Intense is more for evening or colder months.
Well…now I MUST get it! I lived Goddess so after your review…I’ll be getting this asap! I also see Madison Margiela has a vanilla coming out too. I can’t wait! FINALLY! The designers are listening!!! 😊❤️🇨🇦~Kim

I love patchouli and vanilla scents. The original was just ok for me but i definitely need to try this one, it might be perfect for me. I still haven't found a Burberry scent I love yet.

I prefered mon guerlain over burberry goddes, had goddes in my collection but she didn't wow me. Now burberry goddes intense came out and she did wow me, so I sold the OG goddes and bought the intense version, to me she last longer, is def more intense and more complex, love it!
I'm very into Vanilla's right now. I do like Goodness, but I think it was weak scent, so I'm looking forward to try this intense version and see if will be a good choice to me❤❤❤ Thank you Arlene ❤❤

Thank you for your review!😽💕💕💕 I have never smelled Burberry Goddess or the intense version of it, but Bath and Body Works Fireside Flurries may be perfect to layer with it...I get the same vibe from it and it has similar notes as the Burberry perfume! (Obviously fewer notes and cheaper ingredients) Have you smelled or do you own Fireside Flurries?
Hi. I have Burberry Brit Rhythm. I bought it in 2015. I would love to find this discounted at Shoppers Drug Mart. My favourite lavender perfume is YSL Libre.
Omg. I had saw that this was coming out, and while I’m definitely excited, I sometimes get stressed that I’m missing out if I don’t get a small decant or travel size of these recent vanilla dominant “intense” perfumes. I did get the intense versions of Donna Born In Roma and Alien Goddess, and adore them both. I also got the Black Opium Le parfum, which I see as being similar in concept as it’s also heavier on the vanilla than the original. There’s so many it’s gets overwhelming at times. But of course I love vanilla so I’m not gonna pass this up. I also really like lavender with vanilla. One of my all time faves is Mon Guerlain Intense which has the vanilla, lavender and sandalwood. I also have a decant of Lavande Trianon which is a very sugary lavender. It’s actually not my favorite as it can be over powering and make me nauseous if I spray more than once or twice. But it’s still quality perfume. Oh and of course Coffee Break by Maison Margiella. Vanilla and lavender with coffee. So cozy!!! Anyway I’ll def get this. Thanks for your review. 😊
Oh, also, do you pick up strong Patchouli? And is the Lavendar medicinal? I’ve been waiting for this new release, but I’m definitely into the strong vanilla not strong lavender. Thanks.
There's an earthiness in the drydown that I'd assume is the patchouli but on my skin, it smells more like dark and slightly smoky woods. The lavender isn't medicinal, it's warm, spicy, sweet, and very strong, especially in the opening :)
Hello! It appears this new flanker is not available in the US. Checked Sephora, Ulta, Macys, etc. only on the Burberry website that I see! I guess I will have to wait. Its also 5.00 more than the original…of course!
Actually, lavender always leans to a masculine parfum hint. I wonder if it is that note you feel that resembles this kind of touch. I reckon Burberry launched this to stand against Libre line. By the way, I dislike lavender cuz reminds a man lotion, like I sad above. So, don't like too much Godness neither Libre brand.
Maybe? They both showcase vanilla and lavender but they really did amp up the lavender in the Intense version. It's also much stronger imo. Hopefully you'll be able to try both and decide if you like it :D
