An absolutely brilliant weekend! Awesome to drink lots of beer with you. Anyone who's thinking of going- stop thinking and get booked in. Sadly, I'll be in the Swiss Alps next year- but I'll definately be booking for 2025.
Mate, there is nothing "sadly" about being in the Swiss Alps... I hope you have a blinder mate. It was amazing to hang out with you mate, really really was... a few beers make the world a better place! 😀
Nice video mate, and great to meet you to at the ABR. You are spot on with your comments regarding ABR great last yeat, even better this year. See you at the next one if not before. Cheers. Billy
Thats a huge chunk of land, they have taken up just for this event. Glad there are people who approve of this and agree to let strangers ride around there.
Aye mate, 30km for this trail, and then a load more on the TRF trail... and there was also trails set aside for the manufacturers to ride their bikes too!
thats me at 2:38 in the video came off my crf. i dont remember exactly what happened but there was a fair bump that caused me to over throttle the bike then i couldnt make the turn. thanks for stopping mate. another example of some of the great friendly people on the course!
What a cool track! It's so awesome that they created that for people to have a bit of fun on. From what I've seen it is an incredible event. I wish we had events like that around here. We have nothing! That was awesome footage in the last couple of minutes seeing bikes everywhere zipping about. Nice one mate! I'm pretty sure I listened to an interview with Dylan a few years back on the Adventure Rider Radio podcast. I'll have to put his video aside and watch it at some stage later!
It really is incredible watching, I 100% recommend watching it if you have 90min spare! I guess living on a small island has its advantages for events like this, and the venue is slap bang in the middle of the country, so a viable trip for almost all wannabe UK adventurers. Think there was 12,500 people at this one, pretty mega 🙂🤘
@@HippoDrones Yep. We are up against it here with our small population that is spread out over a massive area. Mostly, it is good, but it has it's disadvantages.
I didn't know Dillion was there. Watched his video a few months ago. He goes to show anything is possible, mind blowing. ABR was fantastic once again. I'm in for 2024 already 👍
But did you get to eat many bugs with the visor up? Good protein!! Nah very difficult to film somewhere like that I do think :) So are you going again next year then? :P I'd love to see Adam going too, hell I'd love to go! So many boikes!!! I didn't go to any of them sadly, I'd love to go one day though!
This time my gob stayed bug free thankfully 😀 Aye, if you fil the chats with the likes of Itchy Boots etc, the videos would be hours long, and have bad audio, and the whole point of going to the ABR is to hear them, so be silly to try and record it. I'd love to film the drunkenness and tomfoolery, but I don't like shoving cameras in people's faces when they are drunk in case they don't like it. You'd love the whole festival mate, shame there is not similar out your way? Hahaha... hopefully Adam will get to the next one 😀
I was just thinking, that looks like sand. Then you verified,,,SEND IT!!..lol. Every year I say I wish they had something like that around here and I guess they do. It's called the "Get On Fest", it's just so dang far away from me. I will have to find time one year. That looked like a good ol chill ride and just plain fun.
I must admit, I'm very tempted to go next year - I need to see how things pan out with the new post etc. It looks like a good networking event as mush as anything too and I agree with you that it's not really the kind of place to have a camera stuck to you the entire weekend. I did chuckle a little when you referred to that stone section as being back in Yorkshire - a good grounding for bouldering on a bike 🤣🤣
It's nice of them to put on the trails for you, bet that is a great job setting those up before the festival. I was actually offered a free ticket to the ABR festival this year but I didn't have anyone to go with and also I didn't know how I'd be received rocking up on a ZZR 🤣 It always looks a good festival, glad it's still on nowadays and getting better and better it seems. Corrr those massive stones looked brutal, I'd of been on the ground in a second 😂 I'm so glad you had a great time mate, the trail looked a lot of fun as well. Great video fella.
Ahh you should have come along mate, plenty of sportsbikes there. You could have taken a demo bike out on the trail! 🙂 Haha... yeah, they were tricky, my problem is I ride too slow, it is a lot easier riding that surface quicker... but I get scared! 🤣
Hahaha... soz to disappoint 😀 I should have gotten the GoPro out in the evenings, but was worried shoving a camera in drunken people's faces would annoy them... Was mega though mate, 12,500 people there I think I heard!
@@HippoDrones wowsers that's a decent crowd 🧐 mate in my experience drunk people love to show off when ya point a camera at them, or at least tell everyone what they think 😅👌
I was on the way to Wales to start the ACT when everyone was riding up to the ABR. Was weird seeing them carrying waaaay more kit than I was. As for next year, if I’m not adventuring I might, definitely maybe be at the ABR.
This is making me excited to hit my first ABR this year 🙂
It is an amazing festival, you'll have a blast mate! 🙂
Was good to see you bloody love the ABR 😎🙏😎🤘❤️
It was ace to see you and Buddy Lee 🙂 Aye mate, one of the best motorcycling events of the year I think!
Great video mate thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks Craig 🙂

Keep producing more videos.

Just watching this triggered my hayfever lol
Guess I best book some tickets for next year
Hahaha... I suffered a bit, especially after riding the trail. Aye mate you best! 😀 I've gotten mine already!

Always good when events strive to continually improve. It looked like a nice relaxed day on the bike.
Aye, and they very much have done so here 🙂👍
It was mate, was a cracking ride 🙂
Good video. Trails look easy enough. 🙂
Thanks 🙂 👍
Aye, is a gentle intro to trail riding adv bikes, perfect for those just getting in to it.

Entertainment, food & drink with motorcycles seems like a great combination to me.👍👍
It was mate, the best combination 👌
Glad you had a good time mate. Plenty enough fun on that trail I should think 👍🏼
Absobloominlutely fantasticles time mate. Aye, it was pretty basic in places, but nice to ride, and the trickier parts def gave me a work out too! 🙂
Looks like it was an awesome event again, great stuff…did you get to see Noraly Pete?, if so, was she good? 😀👍
Unfortunately her talk conflicted with another I wanted to see so I missed her... I hope she can get there next year, will def make time for her then.
Great to catch up with you pete 👍🏻🏍️💨
Cheers Pete, same mate... hopefully will do again soon 🙂👍
Looks like you are having fun👍. I went two years ago and had a blast on the trails. Looking forward to the one in Devon end of July
It was brill mate.
Ahh cool, have fun!
Looked like a relaxing ride - I think I could handle most of that! 😄
Mostly, the big stoney bit was a bit wobbly, but supposedly easier if you ride faster, which I can't get my brain to let me do! 🤣🤪
@@HippoDrones Probably because your brain also knows that the faster you're going, the more it hurts if you fall! 😆
@@markfortin8286 yup 🤣
Fairly smooth trail so far mate 👍
Aye, mostly very easy, although had some good tricky bits too! 🙂

Maybe you could incorporate the event with a big trip on the bike exploring?
That's a nice little jumble round the countryside. Not too taxing if riding a big bike.
Yup perfect for the larger bike 🙂👍

I'm definitely considering coming next year.
Do it! 🙂
Looks like you had a good time Pete, much better than sitting on a beach apart from the views!
Hahaha... def had a good time... almost too good of a time in the evenings! 😀🍻🍺🥂
I do like sitting on a beach... but prefer sitting on a bike! 😀
Great to hear that it's kept improving. Can totally understand you just enjoying it and not worrying too much about filming etc. Just having fun :)
