Eventually Dre and Suge had words and Suge eventually showed up at Dres house and they agreed to the terms of Dre legally leaving the label. Dre gave up most or all of his royalties for the work he created while at Death Row and I think he also agrees to let Suge keep Dre’s master recordings. Basically, Dre doesn’t get paid for anything he did for Death Row after he left. And of course Suge and Dre have a fucked up personal relationship with Suge knocking up one of Dre’s baby mommas.

@@JM9220Hail Mary, To Live And Die In LA. 2 of his last songs.
Looks like Snoopzilla got the last laugh yeah
Who was Suge looking at when he heard the sentence?
Ay please do the rise and fall of ruthless records
Well suge knight and dr dre are both from Compton
@DJ Shawty Swag him and snoop dog
Gotta get your facts straight
None of these guys have never been on "Death Row" put them in and see how tough they really are!!!
How did dr dre escaped from suge that easly ?
The way Dre told the story 20 years ago: he decided he was done with Death Row and Suge’s bullshit. So he stopped going to work.
He gave up everything...he left with basically nothing and that was the deal
Dre lost everything when he left NWA then gave up everything he made with Death Row and still became a billionaire dude was destined to be a success no matter what 💯 imagine how loaded Dr Dre would be if he had got to keep all his back catalogue from day one 😧
the 90s were a bad time to be rapper
In loving memory of Jewell 2pac biggie nipsey down fall was Jewell wasn’t get for her music and no knew about her until she Pass away which was the sad part now she and all the other souls can rips in heaven with the angels 🎤🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎤
Whats that song at 10 min ?
You really pronounced Jimmy's last name like that..
My bad sorry i dont know why i say
Congratulations Snoop Dogg to bring back death row 👏👏👏👏 that's was remarkable
Dummy!
Eazy was never touched by Suge. Even Suge denies that. Eazy was couched by Jerry Heller to exaggerate the incident so he could receive more money from Dre while at Deathrow. Suge and his Crew actually threatened Jerry Heller which is why the Jewish defense league came in and told Suge to back off.
Apparently the JDL tried to extort Tupac. I saw it in a FBI file
ruthless, death row and bad boy.
hip hop in a sentence.
Fat beats, Rawkus, stones throw, rhymesayers, anticon, delicious vinyl, lynch mobb, villain, outlaw, sick wid it, loud, Def jux, eastern conference, Def jam, jive, no limit, cash money, cold chillin, murder inc... lol I honestly was just trying to remember as many 90s early 00s hip hop labels as I could haha.
All eyez on me album isn’t the first double album in rap history it’s He’s the DJ I’m The Rapper by fresh prince and Dj Jazzy Jeff is
Good point...it was the first double album by solo rap artist
@@mikegillins4992 that honor would go to Master P's Down South Hustlers: Bouncin' and Swingin that came out in 1995
@@joseaguilera6355 that was a compilation album thou not by a solo artist
This should be called the rise and fall and resurrection of death row
Cool name, but the title is based upon while Suge was the CEO of Death Row.
I always thought who shot ya was a diss back to PAC but it was released years before Hit em up.
Who narrarated this, a text to speech robot?
All eyez on me Was Not! The 1st hip hop double album, It was 2 Live Crew "As Nasty As We Wanna Be" album
Suge Knight was the real life Wilson Fisk
Owned by Snoop. Thank you!!
Hello why did you delete - The Rise & Fall of Ruthless Records?
We don't have this video
@@MusicVibeChannel ok thank you. I could have swore you had made this video, I maybe miss remembering
Pac should have stayed with digital underground
Doing that would’ve altered hiphop forever. Just look at 50 Cents movie, Get Rich or Die Tryin, after Pac everyone was a banger but before Pac ppl were more careful with associating themselves with the gang culture. Had Pac never left Digital Underground gangsta rap and what it influenced would have stayed on the west coast and not spread out across the country like it did with Pac making gang culture cool.
Keep it GANGSTA
Suge went to jail because of it. Not only was Suge gone, but so was his company. As one label is down, another one is up. Don’t f-ck up any business opportunities by getting into brawls and shootouts, because another corporation will either take everything you own, or aim for the top spot. Suge didn’t learn this. He had a successful run with Death Row, but he went the wrong way with it.
"Lead" pipes
Everything indeed has an end
Do you think you can see reviews of death row on glassdoor
Sub po nay 😂
3:24 did he just say Jimmy Lovin? Isn't it Iovine?
In 1996 I was just a baby man….I didn’t get to hear about this like my mom and dad did. Everyone was shocked. The world was shocked…. The biggie and pac beef mannn the greatest beef and friendship of all time. My mom remember u either had to blast pac…or biggie. It couldn’t be both….u had to pick a side. Damn I wish I was older
Yeah bruh it was a wild time. I was more into the lyrical boom bap shit so I was in the Biggie camp but Pac was an amazing presence on the mic. Not so much an emcee but a dope fucking writer with an awesome delivery and hard hitting truths bleeding from his pen.
Jimmy loving lol it’s Jimmy Lovine
Yes always
Your also. Wrong😂😂😂
It's Iovine (iovine)
Why nobody ever mention " Public Enemy " ? I remember they were so huge .
damn why I feel kinda bad for Suge despite all the bad he did? he already spent 8 years inside, then got out, and is now back inside 28 years.... GG's mate
fuxk that. he got 2pac killed
Tbh if it’s true that he killed E, pac and biggie then he single-handedly killed the hip hop industry so no
Tbh it was his fault for thinking he was above the law and running somebody over
And if you look at the things he did to others its pretty well deserved
@@sirmackavelli well that case ended up in a mistrial and has to pay the family
He deserves it.
I’m more interested in the rise and fall of Staxx Records
Yeah nobody cares
Snoop Dogg get the right thing left out of death row and with no limit in 98
Snoop may have had the longest career by doing that but he is also the ultimate dick riding two faced snake by doing what he did.
Jimmy Lovin..😂😂
That Jimmy Lovin
Its funny listening to Millenials explain the Era of music I grew up on 😅
@@RohanUpadhyaya lol I haven't heard "boomer" in 5 years. You're pretty quick 😅
@@RohanUpadhyaya So you're an "Original Gangster" who calls people boomer. Makes a lot of sense. 😅👍
Suge gone be home sooner than later
What's the beat used in the video?
Suge knight look like my dad when I back talk to him
The law system in America is truly horrifying
I think that DRE HAD SOMETHING TO DO BOTH EAZY AND PAC'S DEATH..
I'd say
Dre was less powerful that time he wouldn't had pull something like that with ease
Song of the 11:00?
