    • @Harry351ify
      @Harry351ify 3 місяці тому +1

      I would be interested in what was in her diary. Did she write anything about his sexual aggressiveness in her diary? It looks to me as if she didn't. She wrote how he is a good man but not how he assaulted her? That's suspicious. He got all those STIs but she did not contract any. Seems like he was careful with her when it comes to it. Or they did not have sexual contacts at all. All the evidence I saw for his sexual deviancy was he was having sexual content with him and he had STIs. He probably went for prostitutes because she didn't want to have sex with him. It might be wrong of him going to prostitutes while married, but it's way better than forcing his wife. And about sexual material, I don't think any man could ever comment on that one!

      I'm sure it's possible there is some disparity there. But men have also received relatively short sentences for murder. There is one I'm thinking of as an example - but damned if I can remember his name right now - murdered his poor wife in their bed using a plastic bag over her head, was only sentenced to eight years, and immediately married his mistress when he was released and now is presumably living happily ever after.

    In cases like this, I always think about the criminal's family, especially about his/her parents. Where were they? Did they maintain a close relationship with their son/daughter prior to the crime? It seems that these murderers have little to none ties to the family they grew up in... Maybe this is a contributing factor in their mess.

      I thought the same thing but I guess both those are more commonly spread through needle sharing and not sex. One out of every 1,250 will get it through vaginal sex. So I guess she dodged the bullet.. 🤔

    He was only 26 when she killed him. I for sure thought they were older. Anyway, apparently Jennifer came from a not so nice family, because allegedly at Jennifers request they refused to give James' family his funeral guest book until 2022 as well as keeping his personal things from them. And I don't for a second buy the "I was abused and scared" narrative. If she was abused, why would she never write it down in her diary? She obviously wrote down plenty of things to the point of detailing her affair and was not in fear of James discovering the diary, so what would keep her from writing about his alleged abuse? She was an addict that saw 250 000 dollars and couldn't wait to buy more dope, so she killed him.

    At first, this case seemed open and shut. But then the defendant came up the idea of lying. Then, the case became open and shut.
    The state made a stupid deal. She almost certainly would have been found guilty. And I don't believe a thing she says about being abused. She's not a battered woman. She's just an evil woman.

    Yet again, another case of why people just don’t get a divorce instead of embarking on this tragic path. I wish this was the only pathetic story of this type but it’s the exact opposite. Caveat-the crime is reprehensible but there is a right not to self incriminate. Do not speak to the police without first consulting with an attorney.

    I always wonder if the victim knew the kind of danger they were in or if they had no idea. This guy allegedly bought a shotgun and an insurance policy for his wife. It think it is reasonable to believe that he had no idea what kind of woman he was married to. The kind who kills because she is bored of a man, tries to profit off the murder, and accuses him of abuse to try to get away with murder.
