What is the difference between yarn over and yarn under.? Does itt make a difference in the look of the stitch?

Yes. The stitches are slightly different, yarn under it makes for a more professional looking plush. The holes are slightly smaller

Yes it makes a tighter stitch. And it forms an x with the yarn. Instead of a w. If that makes any sense.

Alternatively, you could use felt. A few other designers have crocheted eyes for their patterns, so you might want to try their patterns instead of mine! 😊
