Thank you for posting this excellent tutorial. I made my first reversible bag in less than 5 hours from scratch following your guide and I love it. I tweaked it a little and added a patch pocket to the front of mine instead of the button fastening.

This was the best tutorial , and it's made me so happy to make this today because.. although I had a pattern to this bag, I lost the instructions, so if left to my own imagination I can't imagine the mess I'd be in. You saved me. lol . My daughter asked me to make this for her - again; the one I made years ago has been well used for her dog, and she loves it and wanted another one. I loved the visual clear instructions. and the words attached were great, much better than someone speaking I think... Thank you so much.

I made 4 of these bags and have 2 more to sew. Great Tutorial and Video. Had to watch the video a few times on my first bag but after I watched a few times, no problem with the pattern. I added an inside pocket, on the outside bag I added a tab with a d- ring. Thanks so much for sharing this. I love your outer fabric. Stay well, stay safe.

If you wanted a little more body to purse(which I’ll be making anyway...looks good) what would you suggest?
Summer Jones light to medium weight fusible interfacing ironed to wrong sides of both fabrics will give more “body “
Or you can make the outside dick cloth or cotton canvas, and line the bag with cotton/broadcloth

I made it! But I put the fold on the long side of the pattern 😩 so I had to turn it into a bucket bag (made a 10” round bottom) came out really cute. So then I made a second one the correct way. 😆

If I want to add pockets would I sew the pocket piece of fabric into the lining? *Don't have a sewing machine. Trying Hand sewing
Kimisha Leamon : If you want interior pocket you need to sew into the lining piece, for exterior pocket you need to sew on outer piece. I hope this helps.
