Brenda sent me. I like what I just viewed. I just subscribed to you channel. I love that little quilt. It gives new meaning to the song "PURPLE RAIN". I have seen it rain mud and frogs but never purple rain. I live in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (USA).
@@FutureCatNZ My brother came running into the house yelling, "It's raining frogs." Mom and I went out to see what he was yelling about. Sure enough it was raining tiny little tree frogs. Some were still living after they hit the ground. Shortly after we went back in the house, the birds started eating the frogs. I don't think any of the tiny little tree frogs got to live. Strange things do happen in Kentucky. The frogs came down in a heavy rain shower. There was a raw meat shower over in Bath County (that happened long before I was born). No one knows where the frogs, or meat, were picked up by a tornado then dropped later with rain.
Thanks! The fabric is "Fair Isle Friends by Anita Jeram for Clothworks" (lucky there was still enough selvedge left for me to check - I don't normally pay much attention to what fabrics are called). I like using cat fabrics too - most quilts I make end up with at least one cat hiding in them :-)
Your mini quilt turned out perfect!! You make curved piecing look easy! 😊
Thanks! Just don't look too closely at the bits where it isn't flat 😆 (but quilting hides a multitude of sins!)
Very cool!
Thanks!
Once again, you've made a wonderful gift with your brilliant imagination! I love how it turned out! Bravo!
Thanks!
Beautiful! 🌈
Thanks!
I don't have the first clue about quilting, but that rainbow background quilting you tried first looked interesting to me 🙂
Yeah, it might have worked, but it just wasn't feeling right. And I like the contrast of the straight lines against all the curved shapes.
Thanks i also do these things like in a rush. Glad to see how u did the curves. Im new to quilting and can try it now. From South Africa ❤
Good to know I'm not the only one who sews in a hurry!
How lovely
Thanks! I had fun making that one
I love it!
Thanks!

Thanks, and welcome! A rain of frogs - that must be a real sight!

@@arvettadelashmit9337 Wow! You definitely live in a strange part of the world 😆
I like your new intro!
Thanks! (Shows me how infrequently you watch my videos - I've had that intro for ages 😉)
Lovely improv mini quilt. What line is the cross-stitched kitty cat fabric? I collect kitty cat fabric.
