We surprised our children with their first ever trip to Disney World. Planning in secret for a year, this was the day before we flew to Orlando!

The boy is so sweet and understands what his parents have done. Brought tears to my eyes. I think the girl is too young to get it so that is why she was obnoxious. She just cares about presents, which is normal until a particular age.

This made me start crying, seeing the moment they knew they were going to Disney World as a suprise, which is truly magical. I experienced this before when I went back in 2018 too, it was very magical, and havent been since, hopefully I can go back though.
It's so precious seeing how much the appreciate such a wonderful gift. That has to be one of the best Christmas presents a kid could get ❤

These children, and everyone who got a surprise Disney trip (got one 2016 I thinK, HK Disneyland) before 2020 are damn lucky rn. I learned that Disney trips are far more expensive these days.

my fav toy is a toy doctor’s kit
sometimes i could take it to fun places in downtown Dallas like the reunion tower,
Dallas fair park, the Dallas zoo and others & most times I’ll play with it, dance with it, swim with it or run with it; i also take my toy doctor’s kit with me to the hospital playroom when I’m well enough and’ve done exactly what the pediatricians asked me to do throughout each medical test and procedure (things you do at the doctor’s office or a hospital or medical center)
i share my toy doctor’s kit with the little children in the hospital’s playroom
we play together and get better the whole time

She is a beautiful little girl, but this is the reason why most mothers want a son.
Maybe the difference in the reactions were because the boy is older and more "aware" of what the surprise really is. And maybe, as being older, he has been waiting for the trip for a longer time. The girl seemed to be just overly excited for the contents in the bag and didn't fully understand what was going on, again, maybe cause of her younger age.

gissneric My wife LOVES planning our trips. She was meticulous making our entire weeks plans for Disney. Each day was nearly planned down to the minute and we never waited for more than 15-20 minutes for anything we wanted to ride. She gets all the credit.
@@jordanhansing That's great to know. One of the biggest mistakes people make who go to Disney for the first time is treating it like it's any other local park. If you don't plan, you will be overwhelmed. Y'all should watch Disney vlogs from Tim Tracker. You will learn a lot.
