Thanks Martin, Mat has been seeing one in the same road traffic cone for a few weeks now so may have to find that one and film it also. Thanks mate and stay safe 👍🏻
@@scubadive In Greece, they used to fish for octopuses with real earthenware pots, because there was a lack of places for them to hide. Perhaps you could put some sort of hidey holes down and then film them when they get occupied? Stay Safe Mate.
Yea you're right. The UV has to be used at night. There are many different things that you see regularly that really glow in different colours and ways
I will have to see if we can get into the local bathing pools at night as loads have been trapped in there and would be easy victims for filming 👍🏻😂👍🏻 thanks for letting me know
Been very busy lately with Work, house and family but have been diving but just not getting time to edit the vids as they take 8 to 10 hrs depending on what I have to sort through 😂 I’m good thanks for asking 👍🏻
@@scubadive damn man I had no idea it took you so much time to bring the content. All I can say is, thank you. Family always come first and it's great that you take the time to do this for us all 👍
@scrappydoo7887 no problem and thanks for watching. It’s a diary which we can all look back on and enjoy too. It probably helps fisherman, marine study groups and others to study the sea life around Guernsey too 👍🏻
Yes he only wears a wet suit and dives all year round even when the water temp is right down. Like he says “he’s a proper diver” 😂😂 yes it is 17 or was, it’s down to 15 now 😪

I think you will see many more octopus in the coming years. We are seeing them everywhere on the west side from over 100ft down to 10ft
I’m sure they have a good couple of season with fair and warmer water temps so I think you are right Troy. Seen a few more since this one 👍🏻😁👍🏻
