I tried the first one, tonight, with a veg rescue box we get, which this week had spring greens.. Great recipe above, and i made an amazing filling, nuts, pine kernels, raisins, onion, parmigiana, squash, rice, herbs & spices which turned out brilliantly , but one caveat. Spring greens are not like dolmades. The ones we had are more like chewing gum, even when blanched. Be prepared for some earnest chewing for 3 mins or more per leaf. But great idea. Thanks.
Brilliant. I love the Spring Greens, but until recently - just used as a sub for cabbage with sausages and potatoes. Found a recipe that used cabbage for pakora, just used Spring Greens instead - worked even better. But those rice rolls looked amazing and sounds so tasty. And the lovely lady making them clearly enjoyed them too! Thank you Riverford team.
Yes they are amazing greens to have. You can use them in so many different ways and they taste amazing. Yes Kirsty loved the wraps a lot😀. Let us know if you try them and what you think
Can,t wait to try them, although I don,t know if I can get the rice circles here in Greece, do you think filo pastry would work? Loved the spring green wraps, they both sound yummy ways of using spring greens, which we have on our organic garden! Thank you very much!
They look a bit like collard greens - they are a real staple from the American south, especially Georgia. I grew some last year and they got a bit out of control and I didn't grow them again. These recipes look great though so i might have to grow a few plants again! thanks - great video.
Gosh I’m dairy and gluten free and am very limited but I could make and eat these. Fab! Thank you.
Love these recipes - totally awesome
Music to our ears Ginny!

Just remembered I would have to cook them if I used filo! Any suggestions on what to use instead? 😊💕
Very nice 👌 👍
I adore your kitchen. So this equivalent of collard greens here in America?
Hi Rocky, Spring Greens or Kale are the closest UK equivalent to collard greens, so this recipe should work well for you.
You are making me hungry
Time to get cooking!
