I was an innocent 12 year child back to 99' and this was my last christmas gift realizing Santa is not real, lol. My mom gave me this soundtrack album and a laser toy, I was so fucking happy and excited , remember playing with my laser in the darkness, listening to this great song, life was simpler and music was always there, i will never forget that Christmas.

This was me same christmas '99. I also got that random Mortal Kombat album that wasnt relevant to the movie or canon lmao and realizing my mom just knew I loved Korn/MK at the same time lmao.
My mom doesn't realize how much these 2 albums fucked my music taste up in the best way possible. Gonna add the End of Days soundtrack too cause its so fucking good

Dude same here. I borrowed this CD and this track blew my child mind lol. The film is a guilty pleasure of mine. Arnie vs The Devil. Loved it.
Edit: that MK album was killer too! Napalm Death, Fear Factory. So sick.

@@LurkKlerk Glad you enjoyed it! for me that End of Days album brought some weird feellngs about the end of an era, it was 99 and we were just days for Y2K , and honestly i was freaked out about it and was affraid the world was going to end, lol. That´s why i wished that album for christmas. Ok, now i have something to listen this Friday, i never heard about that MK soundtrack album! you are the 2nd person who mentions it so it has to be awesome.

That's what I always thought. I know it's from End of Days. But it is definitely in that Follow the Leader style.

    [Verse 1]
    You can see I fly
    Disguised evil attracting every eye
    You can watch me play
Taste your juices from me all day
You can see I tried this all for you
You can see I despise all of you
You can see I'm trying something new
    You can see me fly
    [Chorus]
    Sometime, somewhere!
    Deceit leads you nowhere!
You try so hard to be the shifting star!
    [Verse 2]
    So come on with me
Take you on a slow ride, set you free
    Someone can't you see?
Going on this way, free you'll never be
So you see I tried this all for you
So you see I despise all of you
So you see I'm trying something new
    So you see me fly
    [Chorus]

I know right, it was sort of the same situation for me because I'd never heard of it before seeing a person commenting here on UA-cam starting that this was one of you his/her favorite songs! I don't see how songs from all these great bands remain hidden from the majority of us fans! Even though living in a hick ass town in TN literally prevents us from having more than a couple of rock/ metal stations, I we could still run to a bigger town for REAL MUSIC!!!?! I am so thankful for UA-cam coming along because it seems that most of us have been neglected of a lot of hidden gems by basically any band/artist that you can think of without having all these awesome people coming along and posting just about anything rare that many people don't know about!?!!

it took some years to me, to understand some things... when i was a child, my father played me songs like pink floyd, dire streets, and other big instrumental things.... after it ------ still like those memorable bands (they formed my life anyway) - ----it made my life to be what is to be. I realized, the magic of these songs .. magic of a pure feel... they gave it to us in another way like " pink floyd" , or other amazing stuff.... they simply gave us a feel ... a other dimension of imaging ... other dimension of seeing.... I think (not only this song) it is revolutoniary ....

I agree thanos, music's meaning is not portrayed by the stupid rap/pop that is now popular. It is about spilling out your feelings and problems in the form of music that people around the world can connect to. That is what Jonathan Davis does. It takes a real man to be honest and brave enough to sing some of the material he wrote about his horrible uprising. A lot of guys think a "pussy" would do that. No it makes you the pussy for acting fake and not being upfront and not facing your problems head on. Davis does not care about how much money he makes like jay z, beyonce, lil wayne, etc, he really does want to perform to help ease his mind, that it is a "true" passion of his, and to connect to fans around the world. That is what makes him an awesome person. Like most musicians today, he is against how what the music industry is all about and what it has turned in to (Freak on a Leash). Those rappers and pop artists do not care about you, they just want to be rich and act like they are above everybody else or in other words feel like a god. There is no point in being a fan towards them considering that and don't understand how people can even be. Anyways, Jonathan Davis, and all of korn have good intentions and are religious which is awesome. Fuck the satanic shit. Look forward to what korn has planned for the future and come to Pittsburgh, PA that would be sick lol

I do agree, except for the 'fuck satanic shit', you should be aware of other opinions, especially considering that Satan is usually just a metaphor. Yes, 'Head' got into the Jesus stuff, and I don't think it was the best thing for him to do, I would go for Buddha more likely.

I find the instrumental structure of the verses so trippy; the second one is the opposite of the first one.
