@SURVIVAL OUTPOST CHANNEL oh I know, I saw it. But Nate mentioned having an idea about it so I assumed he means how to use the exhaust stack that is on the vehicle already.

3:40 - That’s crazy! Another good reason I won’t buy a Trax-ass vehicle. They didn’t invent cantilever shocks! I’m surprised they haven’t tried to patent round wheels on RC cars!
Those tail light will work when reverse at high speed. Just plug it beside headlight with same position and it work’s. This is very good truck, i have one with same color as yours

Nice truck! Only thing I don't like is that the back is to bland could have a full body!
If I didn't know any better I would say that that is the dynamite 60 amp ESC so you should be able to use 3s as long as you have a 35t motor
Try it with a lipo id love to see how it runs

Cool truck. Cantilever suspension has been around for a very long time aftermarket. If they have a patent, there must be something very specific about their design.

Love this crusher i have a ex86100 and I love it but this crusher is another level, but put a lipo 2S in that and you see the difference, in my ex86100 i use a lipo 2s with 5200mah and lots of time fun. Nice vídeo 👊

I am a sucker for short wheelbase crawlers with roll cages and power wagon style bodies! I think I like this better than the new Sendero HD that was just released. I already have some Enduro trucks, but no RGT, yet. Might have to get this one. Too bad the discount code expired already. :(

I got the rgt v3 Suzuki samri and it has the same light set up...you have to double click the chanle 3 button 2 times fast and it should change the lights. On/off. You should also be able to single click it and turn off the hazard lights for more traditional blinkers..ALLWAYS read the hand book provided lol it tells you. Or should tell you 🤷♂️. Ps. Id like to know what you guys think of the Suzuki Samri. Its my favorite real life 1:1 4x4 vehicle. And getting it as a 1/10th from rgt literally made my month. Can't wait to get my full size imported 💚

Has that old time semi truck look. Not big on the color,or the continuous 'hazard' lights, Minor things. And as you said, some rust look would look great on this... I can just imagine the paint job Johnny Rains could do on this! Just thinking; when you opened it, maybe pulled the wire from the crimped connector 🤔

On Cantilevers you forgot to mention that Tamiya, Ayk and Tenth Technology all had Cantilever suspension way before Traxxas had even thought about it. The way Traxxas managed to copyright something that had been used in the RC world for 20 years just sums them up as a company, just ruthless. The Gmade Bom also has Cantilever suspension but it's £100 more.
well.. it's not a crime if you patent something so why the hell tamiya couldn't do that? I can't even recognize what AYK and something is, another chineese super producer ?
@@eM4rio no Ayk is from the early 80's and tenth technology made the predator. It was a racing buggy made in the 90's that used formula one technology and ground breaking suspension set up which traxxas copied and then copyrighted.

If the yard you guys are in is yours come spring why not till up a little of the hill side for your basher trucks and create a test area for the trucks and cars you product test. and if that creek along the edge of your property has water in it year round you can dam it up and create a pond for the boats you test

Well said. Cheap servo extension wires, or just longer wires would be a cheap, simple fix. Ill be ordering some soon. I was low anyways 😉😁👍😎⚓
The trick with longer wires is making sure they don’t dangle where they can snag on things or come into contact with a hot component (motor casing, for example). Fortunately, the latter hasn’t happened to me (yet); hope you don’t ask how I found out about the first one... 😬

I have said this before but Tenth technology has cantilever shocks before traxxas did and cantilever shocks were on monster trucks before traxxas di them so who does traxxas think they are claiming that they came up with the cantilever shock? This is why I refuse to support or buy anything traxxas EVER again.

@@TheRcSaylors i have been doing rc's for a very long time and remember things like the first brushless setup in a land vehicle, when Hacker was the top of the line brushless brand, when teth technologies came out with their predator race buggy and so on.
I don't get the idea behind the Crawler concept. So people buy these to watch them move over rocks at a slow speed? You have to follow it around closely while driving it? Why not just drive your 4 wheel drive truck slowly over rocks?
Crawlers are great for things like hiking trails and steep inclines, where traction, balance, torque, and precise speed control are very helpful. Rock crawlers are a little different, usually giving up the scale appearance in favor of maximum ground clearance and suspension articulation, and gearing for even lower speeds than trail crawlers. Both styles often include locked differentials on at least the rear, and more commonly both, axles. Also, they frequently incorporate drag brakes, which are intended to greatly slow or stop the vehicle from coasting/accelerating downhill.
Most general purpose bashers lack the ground clearance, grippy tires, and fine motor control to navigate with the precision of a crawler. Also, they usually have open differentials, so if one wheel loses traction, it will free spin and the wheel on the other side won’t turn, which usually means the vehicle is effectively stuck and in need of rescue. The lack of drag brake means they will freely coast/accelerate downhill if not oriented perpendicular to the slope, and the ones with a relatively high CG will want to tumble sideways down the hill anyway if it’s steep enough.
TL;DR: Different configurations for different missions. 😎 Hope that helps!

Have a look at the ftx range in uk ,,and I think Europe,,, rgb is exactly, and i mean exactly like ftx texan has good rateing here in the uk.& comes in candy red grey, & green as standard cost £287 in uk,,,ftx use mostly etronix tramitters & receiver's 👍

Cantilever shocks have been out a lot longer than Traxxas. I don't think your saying that right..... I had an aristocraft kangaroo that had cantilever shocks in 1986...

To get Smoke FX, just add a Arrma ESC from the Voltage or Mega 550.
I dunno. Heard those smoke cartridges are single-use only. 😉
@@chadpollman7970 But boy do they go up in smoke. A 2s will just get them Super Hot and shut down after 10minutes but a 3s ( rated to handle) will Get those babies Spewing Smoke, you could send Smoke Signals.

Ehhhh I dont know its a cool lookin truck yea but after shipping and taxes this truck is at 420 bucks!!! For only 30 dollars more can get the Axial SCX10 II instead better parts availability and support.... No brainer there.... Dont get me wrong tho, RGT is a good RC company... They have made some massive improvements last few years & worthy of buyin but NOT for that price tag.....

Love you guys, but I can't see recommending something with such poor runtime, lights that don't work correctly, wires too short to open the body. For the price one can get a more of a name brand RC from a reseller that can get the car to you in days and not over a month.
I hear you loud and clear. Normally, I'd not so strongly recommend something with a handful of issues. However, these issues are very small, and I'm okay with overlooking them. Maybe it is because I like the truck so much. That's why we still pointed out those issues, so it is still a fair assessment for anyone watching. We plan to do some follow up with this truck after a couple issues have been resolved 👍😁😎⚓

Looks like an over priced bang good special. Parts and upgrades are not easily accessible. Much rather buy Axial, Redcat, or Vanquish.
