The "KING" of the 335 AND the Sire H7 !!!
Right on Larry - rocking the Sire! I love them! Thanks for putting your name on these fine guitars! Mucho Kudos to Travis - you rock that bass world class playing! Great job and career! Thanks for the great music!
Long live Larry Carlton!!
Larry the Gift just keeps giving
LC one of the finest player's on the planet
Wao! Qué privilegio tiene Travis Carlton de tocar con su viejo, eso sí que no tiene precio, que bendición.
Thank you so much for this superb capture and editing; definitely going in my favourites folders! 🎸🍾❤️
Way cool! Thanks for the post!
Great line up wow...Travis is the guy...so deep in the pocket, freakin' awesome 😎
Sweet❤
Beautiful band, impeccable playing by all. Larry's playing here, both in its harmonic and linear aspect, is as usual, sophisticated, precise, excellent and beautiful. Without a doubt, Larry's one of the greats. And he's playing his signature Sire H7 guitar, which gives him a clean, brighter sound which cuts through very nicely when playing with the band.
I've been playing my H7 on my most recent album ("Where Heaven Meets Earth") tracks, love the tones! "Eddy Currents" "Song For Penny" and "These Hollow Body Blues" all feature it... super guitar! Thanks for partnership with Sire, Larry!
@@lastdaysguitar Sweet! I tried the H7 and the H7V and preferred the P90's of the H7V but both guitars sounded excellent, you can't go wrong with either one. My H7V is scheduled for August 2024, can't wait! Happy playing sir!
Better than ever
Love his playing

Sweet Mr 335
Larry es un CAPO.
Carlton can make ANY guitar sound great.
Does anybody knows the name of the last Song? I couldn't find it :-(
The Sire sounds terrible.
I agree, this model is very far from a Gib335. I have glt a Gibson LC 335 and it sounds like it really should do. Anyway I own a Sire L7 ( les paul model) and I can say that it sounds very well and I have and had several Gibson LP.
I agree, this model is very far from a Gib335. I have got a Gibson LC 335 and it sounds like it really should do. Anyway I own a Sire L7 ( les paul model) and I can say that it sounds very well and I have and had several Gibson LP to compare.
Any guitar builder would have a hard time to build a guitar to sound and feel like his 1968 Gibson ES 335, which was played for so many years be Mr 335 himself. Get this man a broom stick and it would sound great anyway.
I've been a Larry Carlton Fan for about 50 years and have to say that the Sire definately does not come close to his 335. I own a Custom Shop 336 which sounds closer to a LP than a 335. I've played the Sire and its a great guitar, I'm thinking of buying an L7 rather than the semi acoustic. You cant beat a good vintage 335 although very difficult to find and the cost is off the scale.
Comparing a 600-700$ with a 3000$ (or even more) guitar it's kind of dumb, especially based on a video recorded with a cell phone. I own a H7 and L7 an both are great instruments for the money. I've played lots of Les Pauls, 335, customs, burts, standards... and I can tell that the Sire is a very good guitar. I play professionally and I don't miss having a real LP or 335. I have other high end guitars, and to be honest I don't find the Sire less valuable. It feels like a much more expensive guitar.
Larry Carlton Sire H7 is so good and nice. But its neck is too fat for me. 🥲 Resigned to get Sire but get Gibson ES 335 figured. Pretty good for me to play Larry’s tunes😋He is one of my guitar hero forever.
