I want to like it but it’s at 600 likes even
They are not Damn Good Haikal my dear friend, they are gifts from God

Every guitar player should study the Beatles back to front nothing but great songs, nicely done mate

@@joinmeng sorry I thought it was top 10 beatle songs, I agree he picked at tgen and tried playing drum part, just all to much
day tripper?
Beatles songs, played properly in the exact original consignment, are really difficult for us lesser mortals. It really shows the talent they had. A strange thing happens though when learning their songs the hard and proper way, you get subtle visions of their time like yellow submarine and other 1960s feelings.
Blackbird is my all time favorite Beatles song. It lies in a special place in my heart
My list in no particular order
-Yesterday
-Blackbird
-Something
- Norwegian Wood
-Dont let me down
-Nowhere Man
-Ticket to Ride
-Michelle
-Do you want to know a secret
-Yellow Submarine
Here comes the sun?
Excellent list… the Beatles melodies are so strong they sound great when played using simple chords when you’re starting out, then get better when you are able add all of the embellishments as your skill improves. The only songs I would definitely add is “In my life”, “Mother Natures Son”, “Dear Prudence” and of course, “Yesterday”.
Surprisingly, 3 by Paul, 3 by John... and... 4 by George...!!
Not too surprising when you realise he was lead guitarist :P
@@vDomMusic sadly, he was hidden behind John and Paul.
Ringo rises above all else to quiver under his eternal rule
i love Something. one of my favorite beatles songs. Here Comes The Sun is great too. george was their hidden gem
Nothing for Ringo..... well, he only wrote like, 2 or 3 songs during his time with the Beatles but he's still great anyway
I’m pretty sure when you buy an acoustic guitar, learning Blackbird is required by law.....😉
I know I have a guitar and that's what everyone requests but it's hard for me but I will keep trying
@@savagechallenge217 it is easy once you learn it. I suggest using a metronome more. Anyway, good luck and don't give up
@Jase sadly no but I've learned here comes the sun
And a few other songs
Finally I've learned blackbird and it really only took 2 to 3 days the strumming is a little off but It's sounds good
@@savagechallenge217 just keep practicing, took me a couple of months to get it perfect
I like the part where he plays wonderwall
i wheezed
While My Guitar Gently Weeps sounded STUNNING.
Excellent man ! It kills me when people ( like recently Quincy Jones ) put down the Beatles .. they are such a wonderful gift to all of us .. to the world. Your playing is spot on man ... the boys would be proud and give you a nice nod ! Yes, I subscribed .. 'tis the least I could do.
funguy4utube Cheers man! Who gives a shit what some might say about The Beatles, about how musically advanced they were or were not. Their melodies/Chords/riffs/lyrics have touched more people than any other music ever created. We’re all unbelievably lucky to have ever even heard their music in first place.
I agree. Sometimes it is my friends ( and bandmates ) ... I think they feel when something or somebody is so on top .. all they can think of is "then they have to be knocked down / put down". The Beatles are a huge part of my life ... been playing guitar since a 1965 largely due to them ... and now I am 68 ! It has been a long long road. They have been a constant friend along the way and so have my guitars.
I don’t think Quincy put down the Beatles. He said they were the worst in the world which is obviously a joke. He said when he met Paul McCartney at 21 he was a shit bassist. This is very likely to be true. Also, there’s no doubt that in a capacity as a session drummer Ringo would be a disaster. He says himself he can’t work to a click and can’t do normal things.
Interesting !
@Jesus RequenaFFS man...neither do I. I think he's amazing. Read what Quincy said.
This is by far the best Beatles guitar compilation
Where is Yesterday!!!?? 😱😰😭😢☹️🙁😕
It's behind you.
David jordan underrated comment
It's my least favourite Beatles/McCartney song
R Smith how
it says for advancing players.. lol. yesterday isn’t too hard to play 😅
Prudence and I’ve got a feeling would also be a good choice. Though your choice is absolutely perfect
I always loved the end of Abbey Road, I think it was a mix of unfinishing songs strung together. Yes, I believe it was called ( "The End"). A great finish!!!
Richard Hommel yeah, Abbey Road is one of my favourites for sure.
You are so right!!!!
Curiously it was the last song they actually recorded
You mean The Abbey Road Medley?
I knew it ! Blackbird is always first :) as a self learner I learnt this and its such a joy
David Brent style head movements with really nice skills.👌
My personal favorite, almost since it came out, is No Reply. Love the changes.
Michelle
Julia
Dear prudence
I feel fine
Norwegian wood
Here comes the sun
Girl
In my life
Across the universe
Yesterday
Thanks, Chris, for just getting down to it, and PLAYING with no commentary! Nicely done!
Bonnie MacKinnon glad you enjoyed it
Incredible... how good & easy Chris makes this look... enviably incredible...!
(from a huge Beatles fan here, who saw The Beatles live in concert, 3 times... we could see them, but we couldn't hear them, because of all the screaming... so your versions sound much better...!)
Very nicely done. I would add: And I love her. Naturally, Yesterday. Eight Days a Week
I do an acoustic version of "For no one". Sounds ok but there is no substitute for the French Horn Paul wrote in on his original score. Nice touch! And one last one, "'Til there was you" would be on my list.
jerry12601 oh yeah ‘til there was you’ is a great choice
I don't think that was Lennon/McCartney, it came from "The Music Man" Broadway musical. I did enjoy your video, esp. Across the Universe
Thank you
That is from the music man so it is a cover. The Beatles didn't write that song. Surprise surprise.
Great work! You threw in several of my favs.
Beautifully played! Thanks for the tips and inspiration.
i sing the songs while he plays the guitar and he seems to enjoy it!!!! thanks man
Beautiful playing man I love here comes the sun
Danny Harwood thanks! It’s a beautiful song.
Barbi Ferrari it is a Beatles song
Man your guitar makes every song sound heavenly
mario alejandro cheers man
Very clean playing. I play some of these and know they are not easy to pull off well.
While my guitar gently weeps deserves to be in this short list
Good list. I like "I've Just Seen a Face" and "When I'm 64" Also "We can work it out" . Thanks
Chad Andrews ‘we can work it out’ is mind blowing!
"Till there was you", "Happy just to dance with you", "I saw her standing there", ...
I just learned black bird and it’s such a fun song to play
BennerxOne oh yeah yeah
I really enjoyed that. I was learning guitar back in the 60s when the songs were coming out. Every new Beatles album was like a new lesson in chords and technique.
I know most of the songs in this video but a couple of the ones I don't play are worth learning I think.
Thanks.
If I could offer any advice it would be to slow down Blackbird. It's about half that fast. :-)
All brilliantly played. The something song is best I've heard on acoustic.
I think You like Rubber soul a Little bit lol
As one should
Rubber Soul does have a more acoustic friendly sound.
Same with the White Album.
there's no way someone can dislike rubber soul
Jaypi Yeipi probably because Rubber Soul has most of there acoustic prominent songs
@Zach Isley That's Revolver
Very nice job Chris. Don’t know when I fell off the planet but I’ve real only heard “Across the Universe” within the last 10 years and I honestly don’t care for it. AND, that’s from a guitar player since I was 8 years old and a huge Beatles fan...I’m 65 now.
Surprised “Yesterday” wasn’t here
Same with Hard Days Night
Great to hear some of the lesser known but still fantastic songs. Lovely tone!
Truly unbelievable! Great Job !
Great list. Mine would include "Dear Prudence" and "Julia" - Not sure which of your tracks to replace. Probably "I'm Looking Through You " and "Two of Us".
Got the british haircut down I see
Just learned Norwegian Wood. When seeing you play I tough I wouldn't bem able to play. But It was easier than I first tough. Very cool song to play and sing.
Now I need to learn some of the others. Thanks
Bloody great stuff m8. ! Thank you, from a Scotsman in New Zealand. Lovely playing.
I could play two songs from this already. 1.Blackbird 2. Here comes the sun. All really fun to play
Hats off to your guitar skills
I have never seen Norwegian Wood played in D before, I play it in G, good stuff. Blackbird spot on.
,
Norwegian Wood is in E (just like he did, but in another tune)
I play it in G due to my personal vocal range.@@ritteralvaro
@@socratease1432 oh, I do it in most songs too. I know what you mean. (sorry about my English, I'm brazilian lol)
Nothing wrong with your English language, enjoy the music. @@ritteralvaro
@@socratease1432 Thanks, it makes me feel so happy. Let's enjoy music.
From Brazil, thank you so much. Wonderful job Chris!
Chris - really nice playing here. You should have a couple of orders of magnitude more traffic and comments here. Keep it up!
Jimm Fox - thank you, I appreciate that.
Mate I can't believe you only have 11k subscribers. I have learnt so much from you. Godspeed!
Mesmerizing man!.
Thanks a lot
One of my favorites Any time at all a lesson, please and Here comes the sun a great song
Just wonderful. Thank you
Keith Inscho you’re welcome
Great touch, calm and nice. You can see a lot of the guitarists personality when they play guitar. This guy is great!
Great job man. I cannot get Enough Beatles. Thank you. ❤️❤️
Nice job, I subscribed! I'd love a part 2 👍
Richard Gallo thanks!
Beautifully played.
LiamJConnolly thanks
I do be playing im looking through you all day haha
Anthony Matthews always been a favourite of mine
I like playing that one slower
Congrats... you've nailed them!!
Great. Except isn't Norwegian Wood capoed at fret 2?
Wayne Deadder it is, i forgot until after I recorded it. It’s no big deal...
Yeah, completely irrelevant. Unless you want to play along to the original recording.
wikichris true. However, he nails everything else so I thought that's what he was going for. Also, don't you think it's worth mentioning?
Wayne Deadder I didn’t but that’s because I have a pet hate for simple that think keys are important. Sorry.
wikichris songs never sound right in different keys to me. I'm a bit OCD and have been a pro musician for 35 years so I get fussy.
Very good way to play !!! Good job.
Playing my fiddle along and having fun ... thanks! I saw the Beatles live on their 1st USA tour in Las Vegas, two shows, $5. per show.
Ronnie & Minh wow, you’re very lucky indeed to have seen them at that time!
So lucky
I love how these are actually how they played them or close enough to how they played them that a Beatles fanatic cannot tell the difference.
Thanks a lot
I feel fine
Saw her standing there
Please please me
Yesterday
Hey jude
Man on a hill
Just to name a few.......
*fool on the hill, *i saw her standing there
I was waiting for Julia and Yesterday, but the selection is wonderful... and blackbird is also my favorite!
This guy deserves more subscribers.
This video is incredible. Could you _please_ do a tutorial on 'Something' and 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'? The fingerpicking style is so damn beautiful for both, especially just the way you play in general, it's so elegant/effortless. Your versions also seem to be the easiest. Thank you so much again for this video. You seriously deserve more recognition.
aizy.patricia thanks, I appreciate that a lot. I’m pretty busy with my other channel (Six String Fingerpicking) at the moment but in the future I’ll happily do tutorials of those songs.
Six String Fingerpicking That’s understandable, yes, of course, no rush at all. I’m just in love with the way that you play them. Keep up the amazing work. :)
aizy.patricia thanks again, if I haven’t done it in a few months please remind me. Thanks for the kind words.
Six String Fingerpicking No worries! Will do, but no rush.
Six String Fingerpicking !remindme 2 months
Excellent job. Your performance Chris demonstrates just how astonishing the Beatles writing skills were.
One I've been wanting to work out is "Martha My Dear." It's really for piano but could be done fingerstyle.
My own top ten would be
10. Across the universe
9. A day in the life
8. Dig a pony
7. She is leaving home
6. The long and winding road
5. Yes it is
4. That boy
3. Oh darling
2. I am the walrus
1. And your bird can sing
What is your opinion?
Nice job, very smooth
i thank you so much for this video. i got stuck in a rut for a while, and now i got stuff to learn :D thanks again
Acoustic Douche anytime! Glad I helped you out in some way.
Her majesty ?
VERY VERY VERY NICE... THANK YOU
I liked it! Dude even has a Beatles hair cut!
Artty 1975 a bit short for a Beatles hair cut I’d say.
Nice Chris I am arranging the entire White Album for fingerstyle guitar
This guitar is perfect for zeppelin songs
I am enjoying it so good
Very well played.
You forget Dear Prudence
It’s hard to only have a list of ten, songs are always gonna get left out because the Beatles are just so good, and I feel fine or in my life could’ve been on there also
Julia is such a hard song!! Haha try it guys :p
It makes black bird seems like a song for kids...
daniel gonzalez soriano Julia is easy once you nail the finger picking. Just takes practice.
Same with black bird!
You sir, are insane
Awesome video and playing dude
I really like the percussive style you brought to Blackbird. I'm gonna have to try that. It really spices it up. Thanks, I subscribed. Also A Day in the Life, and Cry Baby Cry are on my list but like you said 10 is impossible
Great choices! Glad you liked blackbird
If you play blackbird right you don’t need the percussive elements. Just tap your foot like Paul did. That’s all you need. And the picking itself provides everything else. He’s not playing it the right way so that doesn’t help, no one usually does. He doesn’t play a lot things the right way but to each his own I guess. Still a good list. I’m just a stickler for things like that
TimSandals ah man, you’re breaking my heart.
Chris Murrin Haha sorry bro. You’re a great player I’m just a stickler for Beatles songs. Especially any that involve Paul’s picking styles. I even made a series on my channel devoted to his picking style. I spent a lot of time to master it and it’s a pet peeve of mine. There’s only one way to play those songs and you gotta do them right otherwise it undermines them. You’re a great player though bro I liked your list it’s just I’m a beatle nut and I can spot things most won’t.
Very nice renditions
*fAB play Chris* Do you tAB lessons in pdf available for purchase?
Can I point out that many of these are Harrison songs, my favorite Beatle!
I really enjoyed learning songs like 'i am the walrus' and 'Octopus Garden' even though I never really completed them entirely; I couldn't play them all the way through right now without looking at the notes first. Today I think I semi-mastered 'Hey Jude'. Usually songs of that popularity, I'd call "overrated", but 'Hey Jude' definitely is not.
Shaun good job on remastering Hey Jude! It’s definitely not overrated.
Cmonnnn where’s in my life... love that song
thank you that was beautiful 🙏
The beauty of this song. Timeless song👍
There's 10
where is the last top 1000 songs?
Smooth playing! I think the fingerpicking of Blackbird is a little different though.
Good job.....so many great tunes and interesting guitar parts.....I would also include 'Dear Prudence' with a drop D tuning
You should’ve added here there everywhere too. Good job!
