Love the Bosch. I use them on the daily. Good stuff !!!!
Thanks Dave for the video.
I thank you Stephen
Great tools . I'm invested in the 18v makita line VERY heavily but i have this set for the lighter jobs . Love using these for taking off doors , drilling pilot holes , even fitting kitchens . Also have the 12v angle driver for the kitchens , thats the main reason i bought into the 12v range
very good and I thank you for viewng Jamie
These kits have been around a long time. My shop is full of them. One of the most handy set of tools you will ever buy. They don't have the most power but they make up for it being so handy.
I agree. I will be getting the BL versions as well
I ot the same pair over 10 yrs now still works good.....even after fallin of a 6ft ladder a couples of times...Good review ...
I thank you Raj
Thanks to you who inspire me, I already have my first tools and I am very happy ...
I am glad I can help Eduardo, and I thank you :)
Good to see your 12v collection growing.
I love 12v tools :)
Damn i love hearing you want to invest more into Bosch.
But the did update a lot... Brushless and bateries up to 6ah with the 21700 cells in the 12v class... At leastnin EU they did.
Thanks for the video! I cant wait til next time...
(Sorry for my bad english)
I thank you Cedric
Great video Dave great to see Bosch get some love on this channel keep it up bro
I thank you Chitown
Nice little unboxing! In 12 volt I'm mostly Milwaukee Fuel but I have to say Bosch does have a few 12v tools worth getting. Love my Flexi-Click as its very versatile. Give it a try! Smaller and lighter then the Milwaukee 12v finishing driver but still good power for its size. With a sale the price is hard to beat. Paid $107 for the kit during the holidays. They also have a more powerful brushless model but it's more than double the price. Bosch seems to be in the process of releasing their most popular 12v stuff in brushless. 12v battery wise they have a 2.0, 3.0 and a 6.0. Anyway keep the reviews coming!
I look into that and thank you Rich
Yo MCT! I like those bosch 12v tools! Nice vid! Your going to need more walls for all the new tools you'll buy to test soon. You sure do have alot already. Have a good Sunday!!
I agree lol and thank you Amos
I run 12v Milwaukee tools for most my work, they shred tasks like these. I would definitely compare before investing in Bosch.
versus videos are coming up and I thank you Joel
I have these about 9 yrs ...they fell off a ladder still works great....Bosch quality!....My m12 drill fell off the ladder bout 2 feet light stopped working...
I love 12v tool.
i use and abuse these at work i love em
i got them after your review thank u brother for this video
I used to be a stock manager at my previous job and I had to order replacement parts from Bosch everytime someone broke a drill or grinder. They never had anything in stock and I often had to wait months on end for something as simple as a chuck. That's just my experience with their customer service
Customer service it key
Amazon has the screwdriver and impact kit with 2 batteries, bag and charger for $99 right now. It will show up at $119 but they are running a $20 off promotion into 6/30.
that's not a bad deal and thank you Joshua
good info, because that kit enter in my budget, thanks
I thank you Abraham
For a Centavo of bucks, these are a great deal. Mine have a slightly different charger: smaller footprint, rated at 2 amps (who knows if it's true, though). Love them. Oh, and for a Centavo, these are almost certainly NOT brushless. Could be wrong, though.
Oh man, I love this channel!
I thank you sir
I may be wrong about this but when I bought my kit 4-5 years ago I think they added on to the warranty if you registered the product.
I use these two tools too
and the 3rd tools in my kit is GSR12
very good and I thank you for viewing AML
Nice review. Check the new 12V Bosh GHJ 12 - 6000 mAh battery. It increases a lot the range.
I thank you Roger
Yeah, Bosch have 2,5-3-4-6A batteries for 12V line. These are old 2012-14 models. Have that combo drill, battery is on good side and drill is very handy. Light weight as expected for 12v, it's more for electricians, cabinet-furniture makers. These are tough tools and can put a lot. It will serve you for years if you use it correctly. Just Millwaukee is on pair with Bosch on 12v platform. On the other end 18v is totally different story. New batteries Procore are bruttal but the tools (there are exception as always) are on the lower side of quality, toughness, strenght, power and are more expensive (at least here in Europe). Bosch have top class hammer drills, laser levels, tracksaws, 12v tools....everything else, pick other big mfers. Keep up with the good work, Dave!
ill have to pick some of those up and I thank you
Not bad at all for being 12v....though speed 2 on the drill was almost unusable ...well from what the application was in this particular test...nice vid😎... informative
I thank you Nicholas
Great value kit. Bosch Professional products are the best!
very good and I thank you Alat
love it love it bro u getting down with great stuff bro happy holidays
I thank you for viewing Ruben
Another collection sir 👌
yes sir :)
Bosch Blue is generally great with very few lemons, but the 12v series ofc isnt as heavy duty as the more powerful ones (naturally).
Bosch Green is generally mediocre with quite a few lemons and few genuinely great tools.
I need to get the Brushless versions if these soon and I thank you for viewing Tehogre
I just bought this. Didn't know you had a video on the kit. They're bigger than I'd like. Slightly bigger than Ryobi HP compact.
and these are brushed tool and I thank you for viewing Mike
@@ManCaverTools yeah. I wonder if the brushless are smaller. I couldn’t pass this kit up for $99
So for just work around the house to drill into garage walls and interior walls would Bosch brush be a good idea or would investing in a Bosch brushless be better for long term.
id go for the brushless models. Im not a fan of brushed tools
They are brush motor brother. The PS 32 and PS 42 are the brushless version of the drill driver and impact driver. They also have the PS 21 which is a brush screwdriver and the PS 22 is the brushless version screwdriver that I have myself.
I figured as much. they usually say in big letters if its brushless
Hey Dave i know this video is about bosch but does the Milwaukee 12 volt drill have a metal or plastic chuck? Thanks
the m12 fuel has a metal
4 AMP Batteries would be the bomb ! Very nice drills..
I need to get bigger batteries for these, I thank you for viewing EVIL
Is the a bosch 12v BL review?
excellent
I thank you EVIL
Are you able to do craftsman power tools soon? I want to see that, and the DEWALT 18v to 20v adapter? Those are 2 I request please
Yes I am :)
How come i never seen würth tools on your channel. I use them at work and the are great tools. I would like to se more videos of them on youtube.
I just don't have them yet but I will since out mentioned it
And where would you get wurth?
Look at the motor thru the air vent holes. You will easily see the sparks when you first pull the trigger if they are brushed. Brushless tools don’t spark like that when hitting the trigger. Just from your comment about the smell after warming up makes me 99% sure they are brushed.
The kit CLPK22-120 is a brushed set and kit GXL12V-220B22 is their brushless kit. Seems both now come with 2ah batteries and I have not yet found any larger sized batteries for them.
I know, but I thank you for viewing Janes
Man Caver Tools I thank you for showing us what these tools can and cannot do it helps a lot.
So a question on the drill. Lower speed means more torque correct?
that is correct.
As far as 12 volt tools go the new Skil 12 volt line seems to look very promising. Videos I've seen are very impressive! Check em out
I will be checking those out and thank you MCL
We had them at my work back in 2010, anyone that used them wanted to buy one.
very good and I thank you James
I want to purchase it in future🧤🛠️❤️
Could it be that this set is us market exklusive? Here in germany i can't find it anywere. Also there are so much more caution texts everywere.
it might just be for the USA
Do they compare more to the fuel m12 or the regular m12
I need to test out the brushless models still
is it good an powerful enough for electrical work?
im pretty sure it is. since you won't need to drive in 8" lags
U want to go with the newest bosch ps42, not the older ps21 or ps31 that they throw into combo kits
god i love this channel, been here ever since he only had ryobi, keep up the good work man, also im buying the kobalt 24v impact and drill, what are your opinions on both
Get the new kobalt xtr. From what I’m seeing they are beast putting out power to compete with Milwaukee.
@@jamesfair9751 was considering it, but since I'm just doing stuff around my house I decided the old model is still powerful and it will do the job
Tyler_McCoy _Fishing oh yea the older model is still very capable if they had them out when I got my dewalt set I might have went with them instead. I do love my XR hammer drill and impact tho.
if you do the the kobalt. id get the XRT
@@ManCaverTools yea but me and my pops really are just homeowners and we don't need the xtr power and we know that the 3pc kit is pretty cheap for what you are getting at $289, but the normal set is well powerful from what I see, so do you think it is good enough for its price?
Bosch makes 2ah, 4ah and 6ah 12v lithium ion batteries.
I find the 6ah battery can last a whole day for me.
very good, ill have to pick them up
Do you think 12 volts is enough power or should people go for 18?
it all depends on what you want to do. 12v is powerful enough to some minor house work
Plasma torches and duct tape do wonders
I personally dont like the suitcase style bags. Id rather have something with some space so i can put like a small bit set in there
I do like the bigger bags as well and I thank you for viewing Dillon
Very good tools, you will see, but very old. They have a brushless kit, you need to test to. Good luck
I gotta get the BL kit

I thank you Queen
wishing to have workshop like yours! ❤️🌷
What about Porter Cable?
I will be getting that as well in the future
When you do this to tools (the motor smells good) does /has your wife ever cought you filming a youtube video and stopped laughs at you or just shakes her head smiles and walks out I'll leave you two a lone lol %^)
she laughs at me all the Time lol
@@ManCaverTools that's good lol it's funny as hell I'm not the only one
who do you think you are having hilti, dewalt, makita, and ryobi all on your wall???
I am Man Caver Tools lol
I love this channel and these reviews but it seems like he puts way to much down pressure and should just let the bit do the work.
I've had the 12V makita CLX224 Kit and just got this bosch kit cause of the free grinder promo. Total regret.
Bosch kit is HEAVY and out of balance. It is more top heavy and the handle section doesn't weigh much even with the battery. Handle is too thick to hold comfortably with one hand even compared to 18V tools. The makita was so nicely balanced compared to this. Not sure maybe the bosch motor is a lot more heavy duty but a 12v kit is for light duty stuff.
Heloo...!!!!!
Can I get electric hammer with 4" inch Nail
lol
Blue for pro and green bosch for home gamers.
correct
Guy: *opens bosch kit with ryobi knife* 0-0
I still use that knife, I have a couple of them now :)
TTR vs Milwaukee Fuel and non fuel!
very good and I thank you Damion
I think you got the wrong size shirt there chief
I thank you for viewing Brady
Did he run out of ryobi tools to review 😂
Yes lol, but I am revisiting tests against other brands with Roybi
Please don't buy this drill driver. The clutch selector has a fault that allows it to eventually turn all the way passed where it's not supposed to. The RPMs are slow and the power is ok at best. At the very least, put extra money towards the EC brushless set. Actually, Bosch 12V line is pretty small. Try a different brand. Dewalt X12 line is finally expanding, but no other info has been given passed an oscillating tool. M12 is the overall best choice atm. The only thing going for this B12 is that you can put it in your pocket.
I will be getting the Brushless versions as well and I thank you Tensazero
Have you heard about harbor freight
It's best drill they have is Hercules
@@rodolforojas6126 i have the bauer drill its pretty good too
yes. I will be getting Harbor freight tools in the future
@@ManCaverTools I'm a big fan of hand tools from Harbor Freight for DIYers, and my brother-in-law the car mechanic of 20 years says all his buddies buy those because they work as well and are 20% the cost of Snap-On (has the Snap-on full set, now buys Harbor Freight).
Power tools are a bit different: I bought a hammer drill and the trigger switch burned out in 6 months of light home work, whereas my Dewalt drill works as well today as 25 years ago when I bought it. Recently I needed an impact driver, and my neighbor who runs a construction business loaned me this Bosch set you are reviewing -- excellent!
Still, I decided to look at Harbor Freight's Hercules pro line, problem is they cost about $90 for the first one ($40 for the 12V impact driver, plus the 2 batteries and the charger that are sold separately). So for about the same cost I now have a new impact driver and a new drill Bosch ($100 in July 2020 for the combo set you are reviewing).
I really like the small form factor, with equivalent power of my Dewalt 14V.
Isn't 12 volts too low? There's 16,18 and even 20 volts which is much more powerful and easier to get the job done. I mean why would you want a 12 volts?
Dave, you should check out real tool review channel so you properly know how to inform us of the tools you are reviewing. Not just take them out of the box and drill a hole.
how about this. you unsubscribe to me and move on :)
Great Idea
Oh before I move on, you need to get a bench vise for your bench and not a drill press vise.
for a so called tool reviewer, you don't know much or it seems you like, you don't do any research on the tools you present.
I thank you for viewing evolve
Bad presentation…maight be better….
look how old this video is
