- For each recipe: combine all ingredients in a large pot over the stove top and bring to a steady simmer for about 15 minutes. Then, serve hot!
Alternatively, combine all ingredients into a slow cooker for about two hours on low setting. Either way, the house is smelling amazing~

"Apple and cinnamon, use your power. Heal me now, this very hour" This looks like the Apple Cider Healing Spell.💚
I totally have a whole ritual around making mulled cider. I do it every week from fall equinox to spring. I happen to use cranberry juice just because I'm allergic to apples, but its the ritual that's important to me. I start by filling my slow cooker with the juice and I hold each herb and spice in my hand and charge it with my intention as I add it in. I use this ritual to bless my home and family who drinks it. I always add four cinnamon sticks for prosperity and stability, a palm full of cloves for protection, star anise to manifest blessing into our physical space, and a few pinches of fennel seeds to support my intuitive power. Then I stir all of that intention in with a clockwise motion and let it summer on low for a few hours. It taste amazing, makes my house smell amazing, and it's one of my favorite home blessing spells. Love this video and all your others. Thanks for doing what you do ❤️
"They found me" lol
YAAAAAS!!
I literally just jumped up off my chair as soon as I saw the notification, ran to my kettle boiled it to make some damn tea, sat my ass down and am now relaxing watching your video.
Only recommendation I could add would be to steer clear of the non-stick and use cast iron dutch oven. Also doubles the witchy aesthetic! Teflon can be released during heating and it will slowly poison you. Take care of yourselves. ~Light and Love~
I Love the vids you make with your friends! Caitlin seems like such a funny and genuine person 😊
I will definitely try making some for the 13th when my coven gets together for our full moon drumming. It will be in the 40s 50s that evening. Perfect thank you ladies for sharing
I LOVE mulled wine!!! Yeah out here in Cali there is no apple cider. I've asked people if they've ever had it and they haven't even heard of it. I'm shocked! But girls!! You need to check out this cute, antiquey, enchanting place in Indiana called Brown County. I am so attracted to this place. It was built in the late 1800s for artists to come and gather and sell their crafts. It's called the "Artist's Colony". There are several wineries, crystal shops, clothing shops, sock shops, tea shops. They have EVERYTHING! It's many streets of really old houses that have been turned into restaurants and shops. You walk around and stuff. The Brown County Winery has mulled wine "tea" bags you can buy and they have sweet red wines you can mix with it. Or you can buy an already made batch of mulled wine and all you have to do is heat it up. You girls would love this place during the fall!!! It really has a witch vibe to it during the fall.
This was lovely. More collab videos about different recipes for different events would be neat. This was very casual and nice to listen to.
Out here in Western New York *straightens cowboy hat* we call that there clear golden liquid Apple Juice xD Apple Cider is more opaque and a little more viscous (you shouldn't be able to see through it).
These looks so yummy :3 Imma try these! Happy Autumn and blessed be!!!
When I saw the "cider" I literally thought it was just apple juice, cause yeah apple cider is a lot more opaque, but I guess that was the best they could find in Cali lol
This is the best! Wonderful lil vid. made me feel all cozy! Blessings Witches!
Olivia, you look FABULOUS in this video, love the flowy fabric (poncho? Shawl?). Caitlin’s eyeshadow is on point too 😍😍😍
"...are you SURE that's only six cups of wine...?" LOL Years ago, Mom was teaching my sister & I how to make one of her signature recipes that years later we realized was a variation of Coq au Vin. She was using a very small cup to measure the wine... then put in another... then thought for a moment and upended the entire bottle of wine into the pot. :-) I'll be trying your cider recipe really soon (I can get the real stuff here in Maryland).
I laughed so hard at the two shots of vodka clip my family had to ask me if i was ok
You never cease to brighten up my day! Had a tough day at school and you two are just so sweet you cheered me right up🥺🥰
Is 9:32 in the morning too early to make mulled wine?? 👻 Looks so good! Sandra Lee knows whats up hahaha 😂 Thanks guys! Great to wake up to! 💖
These are friggen awesome ideas. I love it. Thank you for sharing ladies. ♥
When I make mulled cider I will put my cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and whole alspice in a cheese cloth. Then you can take all cotton cooking string to tie the cheese cloth and work some knot magic in it too.
Olivia I love your top!!
I'm trying this especially with Winter weather.
From the midwest, we use brown sugar and use the slow cooker. Makes the house smell great as well
Getting the notification for a new video just made my day!!
Really like the clove in the apple idea. Great recipes!
This is awesome. Super witchy and I love learning new recipes! Especially holiday timey ones.
Gonna try these this weekend! Both look amazing!
I really enjoyed this. Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks for sharing the recipes
You can also use a swivel carrot peeler for your zest. Much faster and easier.
I can’t wait to try this.
Totally making this for samhain ❤️ it sounds amazing. I'd try adding whiskey, it's my one of my favorites
My granny would add orange liqueur to her ciders and mulled wine... So tasty!
Oh my, now my mouth is watering. I’ll be making this soon FOR SURE!! 👍🏻🤗☺️
For the cider you can substitute the cloves for red hots. One of my friends does that and it is so good.
"I feel like it's missing something but I don't know what." "The maaagick."
Love this video!! Caitlin seems awesome and I’m definitely going to be trying these recipes!!! Much love x
I WAS THINKING THAT THE WHOLE TIME XDXDXDXD "two shots of vodka" *dead*
The fact that people don't know what apple cider is... I'm from upstate New York, our blood is 25% apple cider. It's a crazy thought! Wow! 🤣 So much love, blessings
I love mulled wine! Can't wait to try these recipes out!
Fun fact my grandma put clove free and makes some divination , also she always charge cinamon sticks with wishes and than cleance cups with "smoke" scent...
1,this seems like a really nice drink for when you have a cold
2,its home cooking, always love that
3, beautiful video as always
4, loving that top
Next time, for the apple cider try slicing the apples to match the orange slices (minus the seeds) and allow it to simmer for longer. The apples will begin to break down and help thicken the apple juice to a more cider consistancy.
Aight my fellow kitchen witches this is what’s up
This looks so yummy ! And you reminded me about incorporating magic with my food !! I enchant my water often and my food with salt for protection, but I want to do more in depth rituals
Oooooh this looks legit. I've never done mulled beverages before because being a southern hemisphere human, our seasons don't line up with the holidays these go with. But man sitting in bed with my hot water bottle on my feet, I definitely want to try this.
Also we have apple cider and it's booze as well, not sure what the deal is in LA. You can get pear cider really easy here too, plus crazy flavours of Rekordelig (Icelandic, I think) if you're willing to pay $12 a bottle at the bar.
How fun I've never had these
I sooo love this video😍😍
Definitely gonna make this on Samhain
Oooh delicious!
I don't know any cider specific rituals. I do know a general kitchen witch custom when you are stirring any magical liquid like tea, soup, cider, whatever, you stir clockwise when the intention is to bring something/ someone in and counterclockwise when you want to rid of someone or something. That's pretty well known though.
Such a cosy lovely video I can’t drink these because of migraines but I really enjoyed this how you get cosy feelings in LA I don’t know but I love it xx
Olivia or anyone else if you have a Ralph's near you. They keep it in the produce section (at least all the Ralph's near me they do.)its usually just in a cardboard box on the floor by the apples. Currently I've only been able to find the gala apple cider this season but they also usually have honeycrisp cider too.
I love putting fresh ginger in mulled cider and sometimes cardamom. Also I like to mix wine with the cider (instead of rum). 💜💜💜
Mmm that sound delicious . I will have to try
Great video! One of my covens used to serve both mulled cider and mulled wine for both Mabon and Samhain so this takes me back! None of us had a specific ritual other than adding everything with intention and stirring in pentagrams with the spoon. So delicious and magical. And numb nips...lips!!!! LOL
I make wassail (both tea based and cider based) for Yule, so yummy. I add a few more herbs than that (ginger and cardamom) but I may consider the addition of citrus/oj now.
It was SO nice to Caitlin again I think I’d really enjoy more of her work if she decides to expand. As an Aussie I like to pretend there’s snow when we have Christmas with fake snow deco 😂 this is such a beautiful warm recipie I can’t wait to try! It’s a very warm ostara right now we’re really starting to welcome back the sun but will tuck this away for our Mabon or Samhain 🍎✨
I love drawing sigils with honey!! Do it to my tea all. the. time!
I'm so making the wine!
I made some by slicing nine or ten apples and an orange in a slow cooker with the spices for three to four hours.
I didn't get it from anywhere, but I made my own ritual with mulled wine for my solo initiation into the Craft last year. Spoke a chant over the wine as it mulled (I used a slow cooker) and I drank a little bit every day for something like 10 days, until Samhain. I'll probably do something witchy with mulled wine again this year.
I love your dress/caftan/black sheer thing you’re wearing 💕
Ouuuh yeah! I LOOOVE spiced mulled wine and cider
I love this! Im legit goimg to try this when I get paid Friday!
Same here! I'm totally wanting to try this as well... i also get paid friday... :'D
@@Arjae_p it kind of sucks because I get paid every two weeks I'm paid bi-weekly and I'm used to getting paid weekly yeah and I kind of fighting like allergies / a cold so my throat is really swollen right now and my sinuses are really like congested I don't even congested enslaved you no like the inside of my sinuses are all like swollen so I have a feeling that this would help like decongest or decompress whatever kind of pressure and it seems really like witchy Lewis you know what I mean you can make like with cinnamon you could definitely do so Prosperity work or like this works cinnamon is really good for speeding that up I think a little bit of nutmeg might actually be good with us too I think maybe that's what they thought they might have been missing they might have been missing a Sprinkle of nutmeg
Uh, this is the best! Thank you Olivia and Caitlyn!
Also: how is Alex doing?
Cheers we just subscribed after finding your channel , we home brew beer make wine and meads grow some hops .
I know it’s been a while since you’ve made one of these videos but if you have any other recipes i’m all here for it.
Awesome!! ... I was so excited to see this new video upload! OMG, I love it... 😁😍🎃🕯️🦉🔮💀
I need more foodie vids :D
The clove technique is what i use to make wassail for Yule!! I put clove spikes into the rinds/skins of orange and apple slices and let em float in there :> I've been wanting to make mulled wine this year though and I literally asked my boyfriend just a few days ago if we could make some together. A lot of your recent videos have synced up with things I want to see or things I've thought about recently and I'm really surprised that the universe is just working like this. The energy of you and the Wonderlust Coven must be very connected and similar as of late :>
I actually laughed out loud at that bottle of “apple cider”. Wth??? What a joke! They shouldn’t be allowed to label it apple cider.😂 I think with actual apple cider this would be amazing!
It's great with caramel sauce in it.
That sounds SO. GOOD.
Ooh, I didn’t know this was called mulled wine/cider in english. In Swedish it’s glögg and it would be considered weird to have it if it isn’t mid winter. 😄
Just finished watching & that looks so beautiful! I was gifted a bottle of red wine as a wedding gift a couple of weeks ago but I don’t really care for wine. I was trying to figure out what to do with it because I want to keep the bottle (the labeling is GORGEOUS - look up The Lovers Red Blend by Prophecy) but after watching this I think I’ll use it to make mulled wine for my family’s next get-together!
Adding this: the wines are Tarot inspired! I was gifted the Lovers and the Star. I’m holding onto the bottles & using them to help create an altar in my kitchen ❤️
Spicyyy
Another way to do this is with a slow cooker. Your place will smell heavenly
🤔 hmm maybe add all spice? But I've never had it before, so I'm definitely gonna try this! Thanks ladies!
I was thinking of the meme of Jim Lahey falling down the stairs while drunk and "Two shots of vodka" and I got happy to see it there at 9:20 Lmao
Love the video!
Love it. Was that blk pepper in the tea bag? This is wounderful for Samhain. There's a cider ceremony done at Yule.
A song is sung under an apple tree then the Wassail is given to everyone there, a liberation of cider is poured out on to the roots of the apple tree. Then some one shoots up through the apple tree to scare away any negativity.
Caitlin always have a magnificent luminescent glow on her cheeks ! So beautiful 🔮💖
Olivia -- where do you shop?!?! Seriously every time I watch a video of yours, I'm always saying "I love her outfit!" Stunning 🖤
Miranda McKeeth thrift stores, mostly!
I found recently that a vegetable peeler will allow you to get a big slice of just the colored part of the peal.
During Yule, I'll make a mulled cider and I use cranberry juice instead of orange juice! (I just hate oranges 😂)
Olivia I love that color of lipstick. What brand is it and what shade is it?
Please, please, please! Where did you get your shirt it is absolutely beautiful?!
Ah awesomeness. I love cooking and I thought about posting some recipes.
If you’re doing it it must be a good idea ❤️
Cider is way more popular over here 🇬🇧
Part of the culture of some counties like Somerset and Hereford 🍺
Hardest Man In Tarot ooh a fellow witchy creator in the U.K. I just subscribed to you xx
Beverley Butterfly ah awesome. I’m actually trying to find more of the UK community ❤️
Hardest Man In Tarot me too I’m loving finding other people who share their path it’s such a great way to learn
Chris, that would be a great idea...😁👍xx
Bubble bubble boil and trouble🎃🎃🎃
As a Brit I find this very confusing 😅 cider for us is an alcoholic beverage in it's own right, not just apple juice!
Other than that though they seem like great recipes and I'm planning to give them a try soon! Thanks for the video guys 🖤
I like my spiced wine with extra Brandy holder spiced wine
We always just stuck the cloves in the orange slices when making cider
I make so much mulled wine around Yule, it's just replaced hot chocolate for me now haha
I made a similar recipe to this for Samhain without the wine, and for some reason the after taste was very bitter. Anyone know why that may be? I did let it reach a boil for a bit. I wondered if it was the orange rind. The only other ingredient I included was a little star anise.
To make muelled wine extra boozy make a sirop with water + à bit of the wine + sugar and all the spices and fruits. Then once the flavours are blended add the wine and just warm it up. That way the alcool does not evaporate and you get amazing flavours. It will be very boozy though
I'm from the midwest and THAT APPLE CIDER IS BLASPHEMY
I KNOW ITS SO SAD
What's the powder in the can???
I was so proud when I saw you in This Witch Magazine! We've never met but I think that you are just the Witche's Wart and hope that this brings you one step closer to engendering the face and voice of a coterie, a caucus, a group that sooner than later is going to need a Mistress.
