Sir, while purchasing the property, we use the stamp of denomination of just Rs.500 for writing the document and while registration, stamp duty is paid online (not by attaching the stamp papers of Rs.1 lakh as you said) .....I could not understand the point of purchasing the stamp papers of Rs. 1 lakh while purchasing the property..

1. I have a stamp paper which my mother buyed in 2003 . But it was not used. So can I use that stamp paper now in 2021?
2. If stamp paper is buyed in 2003 by my mother can I use it for myself where my mother is not involved in this transaction now?
3. If stamp paper is purchased in another state can it be used in this state?
4. If stamp paper is purchased for sale but not used then. Cannot be used for mortgage now.?
