Pundits are making a big deal about Ja'maar and Tee not being in camp. Jermaine Burton is going to reap the rewards of their absence.
That's what those two needed. Skin in the game bitches.
I see Burton as a 50, 650 and 5 TD player. Similar numbers to Jordan Shipley as a rookie. Shipley was special with a lesser QB.
It's gonna be a rotation at first. Burton, Yoshi, Jones, and Irwin will all get snaps. Don't forget Gesicki is going to see a lot of snaps in the slot as well.

What about Yoshi and irwin
I think it will be Chase, Higgins and Yoshi .. Burton will be great but I think Yoshi is #3 in the beginning. It will be Burtons job to steal. Gesicki could be that third option too.
burton has way more upside than yoshi. i agree gisecki will likely be the early 3rd option
Slot is the hardest position to play as a receiver. Yoshi is definitely an outside burner-he does have the athleticism and is very smart-but definitely has not had enough snaps in College or so far in the Pros to play slot. If Tee gets injured We might see him a lot more on the field-Charlie Jones if healthy will be Burtons main competition.

It’s a good problem to have. I think it’s up to Joe to decide. They should both get plenty of snaps tho.
Chase Burton and Yoshi
With Burrow being fragile and likely going to get hurt this season again (probably early on), the rift between Tee Higgins/Chase with the Bengals will grow leading to poorer performance, the offensive line is still going to be garbage and not effective and a whole host of other reasons are why I think the Bengals are not going to the playoffs this year and probably never again with Burrow as the first string QB. I have said it since he was hired: he is overrated, overpaid and flops when it matters the most and his QBR in the post season is atrocious.
