Great review David. Thanks. For some reason I thought this worked with a quarter since one of their “batteries” was the same size. Found out it was too big. I modified the load to accept a quarter then realized the quarter would get stuck in the tag as it was too big. Finally the light bulb went off. Just use a nickel. Asked friends and family if it was more amazing with a quarter or nickel. No one cared. Said it was great either way.
I had this performed on me at the JM stand at Blackpool and I thought was terrific!!! I loved that it looked like a James Bond piece of kit. And the transformation of the coin to battery felt very magical! Only reason I didn’t buy it was because I’d already blown my budget.
