Officers of Ukraine's 59th Motorized Brigade used improvised battle drones to stop the #Russian advance.
An officer who goes by the nom de guerre "Sushist" said when Russians are not able to take a city, they just destroy it with artillery.
The Russian war tactic, called "burned land," was used in Bakhmut, Maryinka, and many other Ukrainian cities and villages, the officer said.

They look like pickup trucks. Would an anti-tank do more damage than that? I agree that the explosion is way to big for that little grenade (or whatever) and we don't see the grenade dropping at all. If the second half is the same drone, it appears that it did not drop it's grenade yet because we see a light colored object below it at 0:40 but the drone is all grey and the tip of the grenade is brass, which might be what we see, but chances are that it's a totally different situation.
Video was obviously combined between at least 2 different situations; 1st:we see tracked armored vehicles, 2: the explosion from some other land mine dammages wheeled armored vehicles not tracked, 3rd the drone stil have not dropped its load is a different drone with different ammunition what we saw on beginning, 4th: drone 38 mm ammo could not cause such huge explosion as shown on video, hardly even if it was direct hit to truck loaded with ammunition even then with certain delay with igniting fire starts to spread then comes huge fire ball, but not this cloud dusty ball which proves explosion came from below vehicle pushing it on a side as landmine...
That was a anti tank/vehicle mine not that 38mm round dropped from that “improvised” drone.

Defending yourself against some idiot who decides to pick a fight, is not war. War is never, ever necessary.
Watch any documentary about the 1st or 2nd world wars and all the commentary will have the same rhetoric - neither war was necessary. The cause of friction can, usually, be blamed on one person : the aggressor. This person is responsible for the initial attack, leading to the other country having to defend itself. Yet, that initial attack was never and is never necessary.

yes, the main problem is that Ukraine does not buy drones and do not allow them to be produced. All drones are bought by volunteers and the problem is still transportation through customs

These drones are fully engineered. They are only called “improvised” because they are not supplied by Boeing, Raytheon, BAE etc.
DJI didn’t sell this drone for battle. That’s why it’s called improvised. It’s main function is reconnaissance and taking photos
The first ones were improvised in the panic of the moment, but Ukraine has since built a home-grown industry around these battle drones.

The most memorable drone footage I have seen so far in this conflict goes like this:
There is a lone Russian soldier moving through a trench. A drone drops two consecutive grenades next to him, making him drop down for cover. As soon as the guy tries stand up again one of his legs bends 180 degrees at the shin, below the knee, and he falls back down again. Later in the video, after lying there for some time, he shoots himself..

Holy s* - there’s SO MANY people commenting here that have ZERO clue about any of this. Trying to show off their “knowledge,” but only looking ignorant in the face of those who truly understand all this.
1. The footage isn’t “cut” ; at least not with the intent to fake anything. They sometimes do have multiple drones up ; usually to defeat the jammers by using signal enhancers to ensure the “kill drone” can function.
2. All of those pieces they showed match. That’s that exact drone’s controller as well as the “floodlight-trigger” 9g drop kit for the M3. Those aren’t from different drones.
3. The M3 can easily carry the weight of anti-armor munitions ; DPICM submunitions are commonly used (that’s not what this is though) and only weighs 208g each. The M8 can carry over 800g.
4. A tank CAN be killed in a single shot of DPICM subs or something comparable. That’s what they’re designed for.
5. Ukraine doesn’t need to “fake” anything - because they are simply reshaping the entire battlefield through their (controversial) use of drones. And btw - the term ‘controversial’ here is simply a convenient term by those who’ve never had to fight for the freedom they enjoy of protect their own homes.
6. David killed Goliath with a single well-placed stone, and changed his nation as a result. I bet that stone weighed even less than 208g.
Until I saw this video, I used to think stepping on a lego toy was the most painful. Can only imagine how much advil those drivers will need, once one of those land on their heads 😂
