    I cant think of starting my day without listening Swamiji's discourses. I request all that dont intellectualise and focus only on the logic, just feel it, just contemplate on it, reality is very simple and obvious... Dont get caught into the web of playful intellectualising mind, develop logic in what u r experiencing and all logics then become self evident. This is what vedant teaches us. Reality is very simple, its so simple that it always evades us and we fools r exploring it outside, we r sending expensive vehicles into deep space to find the origin of life, origin of cosmos. Just like in the dream ,we r fighting when did this (dream) space emerge, when (dream) time started ... U r the reality. Who can verify that other than u... Reality is not outside, reality is u who ia appearing as outside as well as inside.

    Swami ji, I started with "Who am I" talk by you on you tube.......some 4 months back accidentally..... ..since then, addicted to advaita.....Drikdrishya Viveka and now 35 sessions on Aparokshanubhuti! It was difficult to understand the Upanishads and Bhagawat Geeta, now at least intellectually I m able to understand what is said there! Thank you very much for being a torch bearer for me on the spiritual path!

    Guruji using words like torturing nose during pranayama practice is harsh.
    I have been doing advance pranayama for long time. As soon doing pranayama going to meditation mode and concentration at a single point, enjoying it. It controls mind, activate chakras and kundalini. Helps in deep meditation.

    Yoga was a methodology rather than a teaching yogic concentrated on experience rather than jyana where as vedanta is straight fact... Truth is one approach is different and both are needed in different ways.

    I have a question on the theory of truth..
    Theoritically it may be possible in future that we wake up from conciousness in a super conciousness (even higher level of reality). So how can we say that in furure also "it can't be corrected"?

    • @amitbiswas1885
      @amitbiswas1885 5 років тому +1

      @Ritika Devi, you may consider this -
      There cannot be 2 infinite. So ultimate is one for sure. Apart from this, in vedanta the conscious mind we feel is actually the reflection of the ultimate. In Sanskrit it is called "chidabhash". So the ultimate is called pure consciousness or super consciousness etc. It's only name to which we cannot name!

      @@amitbiswas1885 thanks for the reply. There can't be 2 infinite (whether it be in time/space) seems to be logical. Thanks for reminding the point. 😊

    Question 2: is there any evidence, that in deep sleep our consciousness is present? Or when one goes through full anasthesia, or unconscious, then also conciousness is present and only the mind shuts down? Is there evidence of this?

    • @amitbiswas1885
      @amitbiswas1885 5 років тому

      @Ritika Devi, yes there is evidence of deep sleep consciousness experience (applicable to full anesthesia also. But we should consider deep sleep as it is available everyday). You may consider this way - mostly we think in deep sleep, there is no experience. But think again, is it absence of experience? or experience of absence/nothingness? which is true in your experience? If that experience is not recorded, how it is possible to recall it? We can only recall things which is already recorded.
      So "shutting down" of the mind in deep sleep is a way of expression in language only. Mind never sleeps. It is only so quite in deep sleep and detached to every sense organ so there is just no ripple of thoughts or anything. So nothingness is experienced there. But ignorance is there in deep sleep. Ignorance of the Self. It is called seed state actually. I will not go deeper with this topic as it requires you to absorb fully. It may take some time. But just think deeply with this.
      I am sure there will be more queries if you think deeper with deep sleep state. It's very very very important state for anybody who really really want to see the truth. I can say this is the doorway to that which is not!

    • @ritikadas1
      @ritikadas1 5 років тому

      @@amitbiswas1885 when I was a child and after having a good sleep, I didn't have any experience. I just felt just now I went ro sleep and when I open my eyes, its morning! So it can be any of those experience of nothingness or absence of experience. I am not sure. Can you suggest any method or book or video explaining this?

    • @amitbiswas1885
      @amitbiswas1885 5 років тому

      This is a very subtle matter and requires full attention to it to grasp it. In our daily experience there are 3 states of mind that is available every day. Awake, dream and deep sleep. Sometimes when we are very tired, the dream state skips very fast. So soon after we go to sleep, we go into deep sleep. Now, the dream state and deep sleep state we can remember and recall. It’s easier to recall dream state as in dream state our minds are not fully thought less. But in deep sleep, mind become very quite and no ripples of thoughts comes in there. See, when we awake up from deep sleep, there is a smooth transition again. So it goes like this - awake->dream->deep sleep->dream->awake. It’s a cycle.
      This is standard process. Now watch - when we wake up, we say there was a time when I slept like a stone/log or something still. This is because we recall it in awake state. We often misunderstand it with “no experience”. But to say “no experience” we need to have experience of “no experience”. See, the nature of absolute is to “experience”. So, if there was no experience in deep sleep that also indicates that the experiencer did not exists in deep sleep. It’s a big mistake. The absolute always exists.
      As I can see you are very aware to think about these subtle matters, take your time and try to grasp it. Once this is clear to you, then I like you to think more on memories. Not the content of memories but the process of memories. Where the memories are stored? Often we say it is stored in our brain. But think, if it is stored in brain or any part of the body, then why doctors and scientists are not able to see our memories by now! Doctors found genetic memories inside DNA. But think, they cannot display it and thus gives us other explanations. How we can directly see our memories? Visuals, sounds etc etc…
      Even doctors and scientists are not able to describe “First person inner experience”. How a sugar tastes it’s only you know in your first person experience.
      Memories are not stored inside our body. It’s more subtle matter. I can discuss it later some day.
      Apart from this, you may consider reading 4 books (yoga) of Swami Vivekananda. You can also listen to drig drishya veveka discourse by Swami Sarvapriyananda ji - ua-cam.com/video/jx7O2zDqi6I/v-deo.html
