I fucking love Marc Rebillet. What a charismatic dude.
Maybe around 5-6 years ago I put a post on Reddit if anybody had a ticket for the show in New York City at the Bowery.And Marc message back with, "give me your name.You're on the list plus one" out of nowhere. Legend! I will always be grateful for that and will always follow and spread the Marc rebillet arts to the people!

Marc has a ton of these bc his character is this wacko guy but he’s proven time after time that when it counts, he has integrity and character. There’s a video of when there was this guy having a seizure at his show and before he even knows what’s going on he’s stopped the music, gotten the crowd to be still and be quiet, he’s talking to the guy and doing crowd control and helped this kid then directed the crowd so EMTS could get to the guy up front. It is just really wholesome and endearing to watch. He’s a good person, just super wacky.

I think that his creative process is very similar to standup. So for him to be chatting with Neal like this makes complete sense.
Agreed: reading a room, being spontaneous, making adjustments, having an open mind, going where the laughs/crowd interest takes you, constant re calibrations, etc.

If he can avoid letting success go to his head and living in a "bubble", the downfall of many a great talent, then I think the sky is the limit, and I can't wait to see what he does next. I’m so glad you chose to include a clip of Girls Club. The recording of that entire set is what really truly made me a Marc believer. The way he slowly wins over the skeptical crowd and hits them with the “Let me in I’m tryna fuck” breakdown is biblical.

I have that same thing he talks about where others giving advice or suggestions. For some reason I instantly think “I’m not going to do that,” or “I’m never going to listen/watch that now.” I’m not saying I love that about myself, but I got excited when I heard him talking about it because I don’t really encounter people who have that same issue.
