Hey, Nick. I’ve been fiddling with knives for years and your videos are very helpful to me. I know they’re not ‘rocket surgery’ to disassemble, clean, & put back together but your vids have spurred me on to have the confidence that I won’t screw things up. Had this one playing the other day while taking apart my GB1 for the first time. It helped turn it from a knife I like into a knife I love! Thanks for all your hard work putting out great content.
I would recommend that you use Denatured Alcohol (Methylated Alcohol) rather than Isopropyl Alcohol for high carbon steels. Over the counter Isopropyl Alcohol has a high water content that may leave Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) in dark places on your M4 steel. Just a friendly FYI.
Nick would you make a video on small changes to make to your knife? you talk about some in this video but i would love to know how to do them and some more of them.
I took 1st version of this knife apart but wasn't able to get the lanyard cylinder back into one side. It just wasn't going in deep enough for some reason. Is it okay that I don't put that back in? Does it take away from the structural integrity of the knife?
Disassembling does not void the warranty, it only voids the warranty if damage occurs and can be proven due to a person maintaining their item. Magnusson-Moss warranty act.
no he post another pic that said "Three cuts, a bunch of sanding, and one void warranty later, I have a Spyderco Ouroboros on phosphor bronze washers with perfect centering and decent action. i'll make a video once it has some time to break in, but in short, a doable pain-in-the-neck." and no problem man
I just cleaned a friend's ZT0301 a couple days ago. Disassembling these things is a therapeutic hobby.

Looking forward to the review Nick. It's nice that you're popping videos everyday now.
I love how Nick sweet talks his parts.
Thanks for making this video! Gave me the courage to take mine apart.
Very eager to see your review on this! Great price for a Taichung spydie, and a lot of room for creativity with aftermarket scales!
after seeing what you do to loaner knives... can I lend you all my knives once a month?

6:00 excellent catch
Now that's a good lookin knife!
Nick, you are the man.
Being an older mechanic I will never get used to seeing Blue Loctite in a Red tube. Makes me cringe when I see someone grab it for a knife.
Nick, I picked up an ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight, on sale. Works great for cleaning guns & knives. ($60)
I was wondering about this knife...nice to know that there is a review coming...I was also wondering if u have a video showing how to combat rust

What was the unsaid stop pin theory??

Those are some tiny washers for a hard use knife ...
Hey, Nick. I lost a pivot washer on my Sage and was told you're the man to get in touch with....possibly, you know how to rectify the problem
+Matt B Spyderco is the folks to talk to. Or measure the other washer to find a match online.

Hey Nick! Would you consider this a hard use edc knife given the full steel liners? Thanks! BTW great informative vid!
Yep, it's as hard use as you'd need.
hey Nick, have you ever considered getting the aftermarket S30v blade for the leatherman?
The child in me giggles at Froglube , every time .
Hey Nick! Quick question, have you tried the bronze phosphorus washers in the
Ouroboros yet?
if you follow him on Instagram he did an update and i think he did put them in
I know that he put a pic of the bag of washers on there but no more after that but thanks man
Yep. It's a beautiful thing. Even the designer of the knife is working to get PB washers into the knife over on the Spyderco forums. :)

I must have not seen it.Thanks guys
As for your request to have that statement stricken from the record...Overruled. Nice video. Thank you.
Are you ever going to do a sharpening video?
Maybe. At the very least, I'll be reviewing the KME system soon.
สวยงามมากครับ
