Maybe someone could tell me.Is the ancient Greek dialect and alphabet totally different to today's.Or are a certain number of words the same?Would appreciate any help.Thanks.
Greek language is a lively language. The language has come to us alive today. The alphabet is the same, with little difference in scripture but with the same pronunciation of words. The dialect prevailing in ancient Greece was the Attic dialect that had the most complete grammar. In today's language we call New Greek, the total of words we pronounce and write today have root and basis in ancient language. Of course, as a living language, it has modern expressions and some words based on the root of other languages. It is certain that today's Greek and Latin are the languages that all western languages are based to a great extent.
