    It is the will of God that "ALL (KINDS)" of people come to repentence.

      mankind.. all mankind. There's no confusion. God will save all mankind and come into the knowledge of the truth. Pertaining to hell: Jesus is talking about the works of the Devil: that is the flesh/blood -> sin. Flesh will be thrown in the lake of fire after the White Throne of Judgement. Those who remain in unbelief won't get glorified bodies and we won't see them again and won't have new souls; they will remain in the spirit with God and they will ONLY know/remember God. This requires in-depth contextual understanding of the scripture.
      Frankly, it's becoming impossible to convince otherwise: I will leave this matter into God's hands.
      Also, the scripture accurately states that hell was made for the devil and his angels, didn't mention mankind - let that sink in.
      Matthew 25:41
      King James Version
      41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
      Who is God speaking to? Satan's creations (Nephilim's, giants, hybrids, including the flesh and blood). On the right right is mankind, the left hand is Satan's creation. Better now? Mankind is God's creation from the foundation of the world.
      1 Tim 2:4:6 (KJV)
      "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
      For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
      Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
      WHO WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED.
      Sigh, this is tiresome. LOL! Refine your scriptural knowledge please. Compare it with NIV and NKJV - they don't mean the same thing.

    6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
    7 “Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.

      In John 15-17, Jesus is talking about the Twelve, not all believers. You can read the chapters together and see that quite plainly. John 17 verse 12 makes that very clear too. If the "them" and "you" in John 17 were all believers or all the elect, we would have to say Judas was elect and was lost, which is of course impossible, none of the elect are lost.

    • @josephchung19
      @josephchung19 2 місяці тому

      @r3aperrising984 if you read from the start of the chapter it's clearly all the believers. And even until verse 12 it continually refers to all believers are secure as jesus will not lose anyone except for judas so that scripture may be fulfilled.

    • @r3aperrising984
      @r3aperrising984 2 місяці тому

      @@josephchung19 So Judas was a believer/one of the elect but was lost? Verse 12 says '*while I was with them*, I have kept them in your name." Jesus was only with the disciples, not with all believers or all the elect. Again, if you read chapters 15-17, he is talking to the disciples the entire time. Throughout all of John 16, Jesus is talking specifically to and about the disciples, and that doesn't change unannounced in John 17. Even most top Calvinists like James White, John Macarthur, John Piper and others agree that these verses are about the disciples, even if they also argue they are applicable to all believers (which, in the main, they are). But when Jesus is talking about the chosen/given throughout chapters 15-17, he is clearly referring to the disciples if you just read the chapters through carefully while paying close attention to who the "you" is. John 15:27: And *you* also will bear witness, because *you* have been with me from the beginning. John 16:6: But because I have said these things to *you*, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless, I tell *you* the truth: it is to *your* advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to *you*. John 16: 31, 33: “Jesus answered them… I have said these things *to you*, that in me you may have peace.” John 17:11-12: 11 And I am no longer in the world, but *they are in the world*, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep *them* in your name, which you have given me, that *they* may be one, even as we are one. 12 While *I was with them*, I kept *them* in your name... All these verses are clearly talking about the disciples, whom Jesus was with, who were given to him by the Father because they believed in the Father, who are still in the world, and of whom none were lost besides Judas. If this were talking about all genuine believers or the believing elect, then Judas being lost would be nonsensical, since no true believer or elect person can be lost.

    • @r3aperrising984
      @r3aperrising984 2 місяці тому

      @@josephchung19 In addition, John 17:6 parallels Acts 10:36-41 Where it says Jesus appeared "not to all the people but to *us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead*." Those chosen by God as witnesses who Jesus "has given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you" (John 17:8). Jesus is talking about the very words he is speaking at the moment to the twelve disciples. The only parts in chapters 15-17 that are clearly about anyone other than the disciples are verses 1-5 in chapter 17 and verses 20-23. Note that in verse 25 it says, "these know that you have sent me." But in verse 20, he said he was talking about those who *will* know/believe. So why is he talking about people who already believe again? Because in verse 24 he switched back to the disciples by saying, "24 Father, I desire that *they also, whom you have given me*, may be with me where I am."

    Another interpretation is that of Steven M. Baugh in his article “Savior of All People: 1 Tim 4:10 in Context.” I think Paul is using the term “savior” in two different senses. He is the savior of all men in the sense that he has created all men and provides for all (Ps 36:6). But he is the savior of those who believe not only in this sense, but also in the greater sense of eternal salvation. A parallel verse is Galatians 6:10 where we are called to do good to all, but especially and in a greater sense to the household of faith.

    This Universalism view on salvation is what actor Jim Caviziel believes. He spoke about it, while being interviewd, on what appeared to be the pulpit of a very large church? This may not be the case, but appeared so. As the interview progressed, he just began saying alot of weird off the wall statements that were just non-sensical. I understand he is a practicing Roman Catholic, even so, it just became so cringeworthy, I just stopped watching. It was a recent interview, but I havent been able to locate it. If Jesus died in place of everyone who deserves hell, then nobody would go to hell.
      He either accomplished what he meant to do or he didn’t.
      There’s no “potential “atonement in the Bible.
      There is only an actual real atonement.
      Either Jesus died for all the sins of all men, or he died for some of the sins of all men, or he died for all the sins of some men.
      If he died for all the sins of all men, then nobody goes to hell, and we know that’s not true.
      If he died for some of the sins of all men, then all men have sins to pay for on their own.

      Romans 8:29, Romans 9:6-25 and just about every other verse int the Bible that explains Gods sovereign election. The truth is nothing in us wants salvation, how therefore if we are not changed from without, can we choose to be saved? Bible says we are DEAD in our trespasses and sins, meaning incapable of movement, unable to change the trajectory of our lives. Then God seeing us, has chosen through the preaching and hearing of the word those who He will save according to His good pleasure, that He above all would be glorified.

    I don't know a single Christian who uses 1 Timothy 4:10 to teach Universalism. The rub is that the normal and natural reading of 1 Timothy 4:10 denies the traditional double predestination view of Limited Atonement by teaching that Christ is the savior of all men, especially those who believe. There's nothing about Antarctica in that verse. First John 2:2 [Christ] is the propitation for our sins and **NOT FOR OURS ONLY** but also for **THE WHOLE WORLD** and 2 Peter 2:1 which says that even false teachers are purchased by Christ are two other similar examples which deny a Limited Atonement definition that says Christ died for this person but not that person. That is simply not a Biblical concept and it has major theological implications in the mind of the believer. Look at RC Sproul. RC Sproul is one of the greatest theological minds of the 20th century and he had no idea if he was saved or not. He talked all the time about going to hell and the possibility of not being elect. How sad. What if the Holy Spirit included these verses to assure believers that Christ did indeed die for their sins and that they are indeed forgiven. This video was a bit a straw-man. Love your work otherwise.

    • @rpavich

      Only consistent Christians. Use first Timothy to teach Universalism.
      If you think that first Timothy teaches that Christ died in place of everyone, whoever lived, then, if you are consistent and logical, you must be a universalist.
      The Bible never speaks of a possible atonement, it is an actual real atonement that accomplished a real act.
      The word propitiation means to propitiate to relieve God‘s wrath.
      Either God‘s wrath is propitiated or it’s not, there’s no potential propitiation.
      And PS: every passage, you cited that you think denies limited atonement has been answered 10,000 times throughout the years

    • @Sentinel517

      @@rpavich I agree with you the five point Calvinist is logically consistent which is why you appealed to logic rather the Scriptures. I personally am at perfect peace with a little bit of mystery in how the sausage gets made rather than exceed what is written by performing hermeneutical violence to the text in order to force it to fit my presupposition. unlimited atonement, yes. Universalism, no. Christ gave his life a ransom for all (1 Tim 2:6) even the false teachers of 2 Peter 2:2 because he is the savior of all men especially those who believe (1 Tim 4:10) because he tasted death for all men (Heb 2:9). I’m ok adjusting my systematic to the text rather than carving on the text to fit my systematic. Let God be true and every man a liar.
      “I cannot imagine a more ready instrument in the hands of Satan for the ruin of souls than a minister who tells sinners that it is not their duty to repent of their sins or to believe in Christ, and who has the arrogance to call himself a gospel minister, while he teaches that God hates some men infinitely and unchangeably for no reason whatever but simply because he chooses to do so.” Charles Spurgeon.
