- It's the start of a new week. And with that comes new opportunities and hurdles. Today I attempt to show you a little of the work that goes into our apartment painting work. And before we can even get the unit that we're working on finished, we got fired! The the reason why is bull... I also have a story I want to share with you about helping a guy get a job and how that turned out. And a few other things I share in this video as well. Hope you enjoy!

I got fired from my IT job two weeks ago. I'm kinda bitter about it and it sucks. I'll make you a deal - if you hang in there and keep going, I'll hang in there and keep going too. I'll be here for every vid you post and even let the ads play through, because I'm loyal like that. I'm thinking about starting a car channel...I'm a 60 year old single hetero white woman with a 99 Mustang I've been building and taking to shows. I'm kinda cute as well as I got a lot of random stuff that rattles around in my brain that I could talk about while driving the Texas countryside. Hey Joe, just wanted to say what’s up. I been rocking with you since the beginning brother. I can’t remember your first video I seen but it was one of your first 10 Videos. I was using a different account back then. I watched every one of your videos as they came out back in 2017 and 2018.
You have always been an inspiration to me. I have 3 numbers. I was living in the free world, between my 2nd and 3rd number when I discovered your channel. I was released from prison January of 2023 from my 3rd number and one of the first things I did was hop on UA-cam and see what ol Joe was up to. And I been rocking with you again ever since. You put out way less videos now and completely different content but you are still an inspiration to me. I love the new videos and would love to see you do a raw how to construction type video showing the ins and outs of not only the work but the business aspect as well as hiring and firing and the people you deal with on a regular basis. You’re a great story teller that has inspired me for years and I wanted to thank you. I know my life of crime is now behind me as it is for you. IMO Its ok for APS to do other content. You’re much more than prison stuff.
Joe, I have been around for all your crazy adventures and I want to say that you are bigger in many ways then you think. You have gave alot of people opportunities, you gave people hope and aspired people to better themselves. I bet you have touched more people than Wes Watson. Keep doing you and it will pay off, you never know until you try and that my friend is something you don't lack is trying. Keep your head up and the big idea is around the corner.

I liked seeing you work, man! It's always intresting how other people do pretty much the same thing I do. Also, it got real deep at the end of the video. You know what they say about comparing yourself to others and they tell you not to do it but we all do it anyway? It's all good. I think it's good to see someone do better than you but you have to use that feeling to be better than them. I don't know. Maybe its helping a little bit. Anyways, keep up the good work! You're awesome!! :)

I was fired last week from the Y for no real reason. I asked what I did or what was said, they told me they count go into details and they didn’t have to actually prove anything to fire me. It was “at will” employment. Absolute bullshit.
Love the videos man. Been a fan for years apon years. Been painting over 15 years. I would only use that sprayer for trim and doors. Replace before it gets bad or buy a real spray machine. It's a money maker. Keep up the content

I got fired from my line cook job within the 1st 3 months of my probationary period. Let me go with no explanation and did it in an email to make it worse.
All good cause I landed at a place that pays well, and has benefits that the other job didn't even come close to. These people actually value hard work and dedication. It all worked out in the end thank God.

Joe - I'm painting my house, and do you have a recommendation for the paint sprayer that you are using? Or can you link it? You should do a DIY on how you do tape offs and do some of your repairs.

Joe, it hurts my heart that you beat yourself up so hard. I know you have a lot on your plate and you're trying your hardest to provide for your family. But, you gotta take a step back sometimes and remember that you're giving it your all, and your all is all you can do. You have a creative mind and an entrepreneurial spirit. That works in your favor, but also to your detriment. You're a go getter and a hard worker, which is amazing! But also, you're always excited to try something new in order to be BETTER and more successful! And when you fail, it hurts you deeply. It's a rollercoaster ride, but that's just who you are. All that said, though, you just need to remember to step back and take a deep breath sometimes. You're doing everything you can. You're juggling a thousand plates and then you beat yourself up when one of those plates happens to fall and break. Sorry to talk in such corny terms, but I guess what I'm saying is to give yourself a damn break. Keep your head up. You're giving it all you got. Be proud of your accomplishments and continue to think of new ideas. Things will be ok!❤
