North goa is extremely crowded especially Baga and calangute, while south Goa is very serene , agonda is a sleepy fisherman town while palolem is just perfect, a great beach, just the right number of tourist. Prefer South ✌😀
I`ve been visiting Goa on a regular basis since 1985. Even then the south was prettier, more interesting, cheaper, friendlier, less rip offs and hassles and generally a more relaxing experience. I`ll be there again for a couple of months this coming winter and I`ll likely head towards Benaulim as it seems to have everything including the best bar..Little Tiger.
i live in goa and according to me north goa is better cuz south goa is actually not the best choice cuz it is dirty and even if you have the best resorts the environment is not the best
North Goa : Party place, Touristy, History, Culture, Crowded beaches, flea market, closer to airport, can be visited all year long South Goa : Peaceful family place, Nature, less crowded, spice gardens,

What is this comparison like North India vs South India it is our Goa it is not referred in two different parts and as a Goan I have never compared my own state into North and South and no one gave you the right to say that South Goa is better than North Goa both the parts are equally good its just that most of the tourist visit north goa than south goa thats why north is more dirty than south it is all because of the tourists

We visited Goa from 2013 to 2019 and liked Benalium. It was less crowded and quieter.
