This may sound ridiculous, but I was diagnosed with type 1 2 years ago, and I've only ever used a pump. I am so scared to do injections. Is that a common fear??
Yes, it's very common. It's important to get the shortest and most fine needles that embecta makes (formerly BD), and to have a good technique. Don't go slow, go in pretty quickly, and most of the time you won't feel it. It's nothing like putting in an infusion line for your pump.
