We have vacationed in the North Conway area now for the last 5 years...sometimes twice / year...and last week we stayed at the Nordic Village Resort... For a ski vacation, this was a perfect condo...with great amenities (indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs, steam room, sauna, games room, complete gym). Close to downhill skiing (Wildcat, Attitash, Cranmore, King Pine, Bretton Woods, and we even travelled to Cannon on a POW day! Don't forget XC - Jackson XC is just around the corner (fantastic trails) and there is also Great Glen Trails up near Wildcat. The condo was well equipped and we will definitely look at this resort next time we come to New Hampshire! The only disappointment was the skating rink was not cleared off when we were there...which would have made the week a perfect one.
